VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Two Weeks [Ep. 6 Fixed] [Madek]

Blast from the past.
I came upon this gem while going through the abandoned list of RenPy games.
Decided to invest myself emotionally into it, full knowingly it got "cancelled".

+All I can say it was worth it.
The storyline is simple. The son visits his mother and sister after two years of seperation due to a divorce.
The plot is indeed a slow burn. The three of them rediscover the mature side of themselves. They suddenly realise there is something more betwen them growing. The sudden discovery they are attractive adults and not children anymore, leads to sexual innuendos. Even the mom leads her son into temptation.
The writing is very good. Small steps are being taken by all sides. The son, sister and mom. They all behaved mature towards each others. No absurdity we all are accustomed to in other games. I was pleasantly surprised by this.
+The renders and design of the female characters are indeed superb. The sister is very attractive, so is the mother and her friend.

+I actually regret not playing this back in 2018 when it was released. The dev worked with his friend. It took them ten months to finish their project.
The game is very short. They cut it due to reasons (the dev called his PC a "potato").
-I can tell the sexual scene with the sister was introduced spontaneously. Bad timing and wrong circumstances indeed. Yet the connection was there. It was well directed. The brother and sister both wanted it. It wasn't forced. You can even read the journal of the sister.
I'm guessing there was supposed to be more content leading to the scene.
+The same for the sex scene with the MC's mom. Romantic dinner leading to something more. Normal infatuation.

There are 58 reviews. People complain about the dumbest nonsense. Do we realise how hard it is to make a game ourselves? This game made me look at mine own life. I haven't achieved much in those five years. Yet the two devs tried at least. I'm getting nostalgic, melancholic, sad. I'm not afraid to admit it. Especially with the new Being A DIK update just being released.
Becouse the female characters aren't treated as objects, and we can experience their prespective, I give it full five stars.
The game is five year old. I trully enjoyed it. The dev is long gone...I hope he is doing good wherever he is, I wish him the best of luck.

I was in this one only for the mom-son story line and there was a complete story! Anyone looking for a mother-son story should grab this as I highly recommend it. I hope the dev comes back with another!

I'm honestly stunned. This game was a great basic framework. It could have even been really exciting.
It would be so easy to get a 4.5-5 star game.
Disappointing, I'm glad there are free games like this, but I still feel cheated of my time.

I'll get this up front - this isn't a review of the entire game. This is a review of the first two minutes of this game. Which is really all you need to play to understand what you're in for.

The game opens with a text crawl about how your parents split up and you went to live with your dad while your mom and sister live somewhere else (1). It then immediately cuts to the MC in bed being woken up by his mother telling him to come down for breakfast (2). Then the MC walking into the kitchen as his mom and sister have an argument (3). The MC looks at his sister and ruminates on how much she has changed since he last saw her (4); pervs at his sister's ass (5); before wondering what the fuck is wrong with him for looking at said ass (6). Sister catches MC groping her with his eyes and demands to know what he's doing (7). MC deflects before asking her about her yoga clothes, an obvious setup for sister and MC doing yoga at some point (8).

There you have it. In the space of maybe two minutes (depending on your reading speed) you are treated to eight spank game cliches. Five of them are incest VN-specific cliches. Let nobody accues this writer of trying to get one past his audience.

I want to make something clear - there is nothing necessarily wrong with using cliches in your writing. They exist for a reason. Like meals in an upscale restaurant, much depends on how they are presented. Unfortunately this writer delivers his dreck with all the finese of a frozen-dinner conveyor belt aimed in the general direction of the audience's face.

When your entire opening is nothing but cliches, without the slightest spark of originality or inventiveness, you are sending your audience a message. And that message is, "I didn't try". Well then, writer of Two Weeks; consider your message received loud and clear. I'll be sure to put as much effort into your playing your game as you did writing it.

the story appears good in the synopsis and the models are fine but the format, the way the story plays out and the backgrounds are just sad, the developer should have spent more time writing and not coding the game in parts. avoid this game!!!

Story (3/5): Is kinda short but is entertaining, in certain points can turn boring, it doesn't feel too forced and i think there are some desitions that doesn't have sense.

Gameplay (4/5): It's a VN, so basically click, make desitions and continue, i don't had bugs during my experience playing, I really appreciate that the dialogues are short and doesn't have 10 lines per scene

Animations (3/5): I think that the sis's model is unique, because the bodytype of the mother is kind of repeated in others female character, the clothes and designs are kind of original and the scenarios, colors and shades looked really pretty

Sex stuff (2.5/5): This is the weakest point (in my opinion) there is no action or at least not too much, the "animated" tag in the tread doesn't has sense because there are only like 4 scenes with that tag.

Good and short game, I recommend it but no for fap

Here's a new name for the game: A What Could Have Been.
One of those games which the dev suddenly ended the game because who the fuck knows why. It's so, so sad because all the story and build up was great. With a proper finale this game would get a 6 star but that ''Completed'' tag means shit when you finish a game like this.

Characters and story is quite nice. Art and animations are cool.
If you are going to play this, expect having fun while playing and getting a huge dissapointment at the end. Of course if you call that an 'end'.

I don't know why I downloaded this in the first place. It was okay when starting off, I loved the models , but turned garbage quick.

There are no real sex scenes.It is just 1-3 pictures.... and there is like... 2.
I don't know if it's my device's problem
BUT HE DIDNT EVEN PUT THE DIC INTO THE THING AND JUST CAME FOR SOME REASON!!
Overall, play this if you want to suffer.

Sister sad no resolve suddenly everything OK and go photoshoot and suddenly she goes all in and got disturbed... Basically u didn't have any with her.
Mom goes to flirty so sudden during the blackout...dang I suppose it have something got skipped like on the beach scene...
The real sex scene with mom also the ending of the game...my guy it just frustrating just that one?maybe because u take to it to long to build up the relationship....so u can't think how to make the game great anymore.

I have a little effort barely got it thanks I will let go to bed soon too I think the same thing about it takes to be at least 10 but i don't know how long the end you lost me in a few weeks and then what are in a few weeks I have a few things

Bad experience. Did not like it all. Feels way too rushed when the sex hits where characters behave like totally different people. For eg I remember when the 1st time MC enters his sisters room w/o knocking she literally calls him over & slaps him & she is like that pretty much throughout our encounters but then later when sex happens she literally behaves like a slutty whore & tries to bang him at his friends house where his friend is close by.

The endless grammar errors were just too painful. They constantly broke up the flow of things by being so distracting. The only scene with the sister that could lead to sex was so sudden and out of no where. It quickly made the entire encounter feel rushed and fake. It felt like the developer just ran out of time or something?

I'm giving this an extra star because the models are pretty good and the animation is fine when it happens.

However, this game should not be marked as completed, it sounds like development has finished but the story just cuts off at a random point and there is no conclusion. There's like two and a half H-scenes and they just kinda come out of nowhere? Honestly it felt like I was missing scenes at times, story beats happened super fast and they skipped a bunch of relationship building to the point where it was just super confusing when sex scenes happened. There's far more complete games out there with the same premise that also don't need you to download three separate parts for an incomplete game.

Great pacing and great models/renders but the OC clearly doesnt understand t5he Completed tag. the game is not completed, its abandoned. mixing these tags up just pisses people off as you expect way more than an abrupt cut to black and thats it after about 2 sex scenes.

Nicely and easy-going game. Quality of renders is good so are animations. Story plot is nothing new, but it's without boring cliché so nothing much to point out. Now the game has completed tag and contains only 2 full sex scenes and bit of lewd. That's a pitty, could be more of them, but that's the only thing I can reproach. Overall above average. 7/10.

TL;DR:
Great potential, good renders, good (few) animations, good build-up speed, BUT not really completed. After just a few days of the titular two weeks a very rushed ending happens which I did not expect and which is why I rate it 3/5 only. Long build-up for a small reward.

PRO:
- The renders are beautiful
- The animations - unfortunately only very few - are good. Would like to see more of that dev.
- Character build-up and pacing is very nice at first. Not a game with a quick sex scene during the first minutes.

NEUTRAL:
- A tad too kinetic for my taste (too few choices), but okay.
- Some sound at first, but nothing consistent. Wasted potential there.

CONTRA:
- The ending is rushed and unexpected. Feels more like an abandoned game than a completed one. After the first and only sex scene with the mother the game just ends, no epilogue, nothing.
- This leads to a change of pace and story for the characters. The first and only (and interrupted) sex scene with the sister comes out of nowhere. There was some flirtation beforehand, but they were nowhere near that level at that point. Same goes for the sex scene with the mother the next day. It's like a download bar which goes to 50% at a steady pace and then suddenly skips to 100%.
- No in-game hint system and somewhat arbitrary at times. If it wasn't for the walkthrough you'd have no chance of knowing to offer your mother wine exactly 4 times at the date instead of more or less for the only consensual sex scene with her.


SUMMARY:
I would have been less disappointed, if I had known beforehand that it was abandoned (rushed ending) instead of the full two weeks of expected gameplay. I would have played it anyway, because the renders/animations are still good and that kind of incest setting is my thing. If you like that too, go ahead and play it, but keep in mind that it's a long build-up for a small reward.

Don't be mislead by the 'Completed' tag, this game is abandoned.

The game has potential and the models for the game are nice. Even so, the game is not finished, there is not a conclusion of it.
Your actions have an impact on the outcome but it did not build up too much up to this point.

If the developer decide to return and actually decide to continue the game I believe it can become a good one

The models and animations look great and the storyline and dialogue is decent. The length of the game is on the shorter side, though the story does wrap up quite well. The main criticism would be the incomplete and unsatisfactory scene with the sister.

I can't really give this a better rating then a 1. I get that not all porn games have to revolve around sex. But, lets be honest as a story game... this game isn't really that great. So where does this game deliver exactly? The story is boring, there is 2 sex scenes which are actually good but not enough to waste your time trying to get. This felt like a game that attempted to be a real visual novel with very little to do with sex and more about the tease of build up and I wouldn't even say it did that well. The game also ends abruptly for some reason right after a sex scene which would further push away that this was a "story game".

Its actually funny that anyone would say that this game is meant to revolve more around a story but abruptly ends right after the final sex scene.

all the users of this kind of game wants a ending that have a boom/blast/wonder/amage/oh my god/superb/even loose there toung etc things. . but this game make me to much down. .
