I think this is a very good game, but I definitely think it goes about its plot in a weird way, before that note, I wanted to talk about how great all the characters are, I like how the daughter relationships are normal, how noble the MC is without feeling like he has an ulterior motive, and how many solid options there are in this game for romance or just pure lust.
To bring up the weird plot points, I was hooked on the plot idea, I love movies and movie theaters, and managing my theater seemed like a fun idea for a game and something that hasn't been done before. Instead, we got a backstory about a divorce, realizing the MC is a parent, embracing his new lifestyle, coming into lots of money through Bitcoin, then learning he has an even more tragic backstory in the special forces. This ultimate badass was dishonorably discharged and didn't say a peep, and then the MC decides to use his wealth to invest in real estate, and then get housing staff for his giant new house, all of these are plot points used in other games, combined into one game.
If you thought that was bloated, you'd be right. We just got to the theater part of the game in this update and it ends right as we start. I like that the author wants a lot of details but like, the overview was not accurate. This game has great characterization, funny dialogue, and lots of options, but it definitely needs to trim the fat before the author burns themselves out with ten different plot hooks going on. I would love it if we dialed back on the borderline superhuman stuff and focused more on the actual synopsis of the game.
I am still giving this five stars, it is a better product than most games on here, I just couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that after a year of development, we just got to the main point of the game, which was established at the start. Like I said, I love the characters, and honestly. I can't wait to meet Erin for real, her character design is gorgeous and sexy.
