The quality of the content in this game is easily a 5/5 in terms of art, animation, and sound quality. Even the gameplay is above average compared to most H-platformers. The controls are tight and responsive, with unique move sets for player characters and enemies that complement each other. It's very clear that a lot of effort has gone into this game, and this amount alone could have taken an entire year to create.
I don't understand the other reviews at all. Whether it's only a five-minute experience or a fifty-hour one, your rating should reflect the quality of what is there. If the game was overpriced, then maybe you'd have a point, but what kind of a person downloads a game for free and docks points for it being too short? I found a compilation of the animations, and there are about eleven minutes worth of high-quality animations to be enjoyed, delivered in one of the best formats for the genre, with impeccable sound design, art, and even some accompanying text with the game over scenes that worked really well.
So, is there anything really worth critiquing here? Not really. I don't even think I could find a flaw, even if I was trying to be pedantic. I'm serious; I can't think of anything. Sure, there's no story, but does there need to be one? I can use my imagination well enough to embellish the circumstances of the game.
I really hope we see more of this, but it's worth noting that games of this quality take a long time to create. As I previously stated, even a short experience like this could have taken an entire year to create.
