Was planning on giving this game a a 3 or 4 out of 5 while I was still playing it. The graphics are good and the theme seemed very appealing. However, there are some things that since completing the game I find very disappointing.
First I did pay for it so I have the full game. The good. The graphics are excellent and alot of detail has been giving to this part of the game. The story did seem very interesting in the beginning (more on that later). The characters and all interactions are voiced which is always a nice touch. The Dev did respond while the game was incomplete and update parts in response to comments which did improve the game.
Now the bad. It's bascially a deluxe visual novel. There are no choices by the player. In the beginning the controls are very frustrating due to the character moving very slow. That does improve over time as there is a system to improve movement based on levels gained. But it's complicated by the challenge part of the game which is a roving dom that makes movement a "challenge." The saving grace here is if you can get to a room or alcove, she can't "punish" you. But after the first ten times it just becomes annoying more than feel like a challenge to the game play.
The Dev did put in an indicator so you can track her to a degree which does help but still she will key off your movement if you don't let her get far enough away from you. It was way worse in the initial releases so there was some improve there. The indicator does also help with where you need to go to complete each quest.
The storyline in my opinion is a little ridiculous. The concept was not bad but there are holes in it as you go along that make no sense. I'll get to the ending in a bit. But for instance, you're supposed to be restricted to your movement yet the roving dom never turns you in or takes "things" from you that she would surely find when she catches you. So to me that makes no sense. None of the other characters that are present who would be the doms in the ship even react to your presence. Which again, your a slave who should not be freely roaming the ship and yet they ignore you.
Second, the goal from the beginning is you hate how you have been involuntary drafted into this facility and are trying to escape. The story seems to move toward that whole point and is why you do much of what you do. In the end, after having the ability to escape you magically decide to stay and at that point and the story seems to end. No more quests and supposedly you now have more freedom to roam the ship BUT the roving dom will still stop and punish you if she catches you. Therefore, lousy ending to what would seem to be a decent concept of a story despite the holes in it.
In addition there are elements during the story that make no sense whatsoever. For instance, the captain remains in the main area where you first meet her despite the fact she is also present in other parts of the ship where you have to interact with her. So that creates inconsistencies in the game. At times depending on which model you select (you can select four different characters to be) the game will not spawn items that are needed to continue. The only fix is to start again with a different character. Also found at times, characters that are supposed to be present are just not there, the visuals are missing.
About the food, water, and lust machines, they are very creative at first but they last about 20 seconds each time you have to use them. So after the first couple of times the novelty wears off and it becomes a choir rather than entertaining.
The voice of the character is novel but again at a certain point it just tends to prolong the scene rather than enhance it. But will give props for the fact all characters have voice to all the interactions.
When I found issues or bugs in the game, I reached out to the Dev to let her know of the issues across several platforms. I received one reply from her. The remainder of any pointers or replies came from other players. Find that discouraging since I am a paying customer.
In conclusion, what to me seemed a very promising version of a fetish style game ended up being poorly completed. If some of the bugs were fixed and the story could conclude with a better ending, something more reasonable for the storyline I could give this a better rating. I truly intended to give this a solid three or four but after completing it, I can't hide my disappointment.
