I got stuck like that after trying to change the resolution. Fixed it by changing my desktop screen resolution from lanscape to portrait while the game is still running. The game screen will then be tilted allowing me to click the options and change it back to the default 1920-1080.

...also, obligatory whining here by me because the thread is only 3 pages long thus far and it shouldn't be that hard to first search for an answer. *whinewhinewhine*
