I tried to access a thread of a game that i visited in the past on f95 and then got this message:

Oops! We ran into some problems.

You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

Can someone tell me if the thread is deleted or how i can get the permission?

Usually mean it's be hidden for breaking a site rule. Lelie Navigation! for example had a game and translation thread, later it was found out that there were some shota scenes and both were hidden.

so it does mean it is deleted, right?

It could be that they keep them as reference when a banned game gets reposted.
No idea how they keep track of that stuff.

what is the point put these kind of games in "frontpage", could there be a hidden section for these kind of games?

I would guess it got a update so it got promoted to appear on latest updates. But then it was decided something in the update needed to be reviewed, or something needed to be fixed.

The whole thread went *poof* though. Maybe it fell victim to rule 7?

Yeah MaouSama was tagged as having some borderline content already, so my guess is either they are discussing or removed it either for the existing content, or maybe something in the new update that they feel crossed the line.
If they are reviewing it, maybe it'll be back later. If they determine it did violate the rules (My guess, rule 7), it'll disappear forever.

Difficult topic. Some live in constant fear of the FBI, some here come from those japanese games
and then some hail from Europe where the age of consent is somewhere between 14 and 16.

The dev/author of Maou-Sama, Neko-Hime, is from Austria
and the age of consent in Austria is 14, according to the all-knowing interwebz.

There are some more one could consider borderline or beyond.

Not an expert in Austrian law, but if the age of consent is 14 in a country, that doesn't mean that it allowed to make porn with 14 year olds... I think in most European countries the models need to be either 18 or 21.

Of course if it is drawn / 3D modelled, it's again a slightly different story because pixels don't have a birth certificate, but Rule 7 is pretty clear.

Any game you want to see that seems to be "banned" from this site, just search it from somewhere else.
Because there are a lot of them, and there are many reasons why they're not here.

In fact, blocking it makes it more likely that I will look it up somewhere else and see if I want it/ want to play it because you make me WANT to see what it is.
(Why restrict access, just delete the whole damn thing from the site and pretend like it was never here in the first place.)

And that guy above me talking about the FBI... just lol. Thanks for the laugh.

If I remember correctly, Australian law forbid to have erotic models that looks underage ; which don't refer to the age of consent, but to the age of civil majority. Therefore I'm not even sure that the game is legal in his country, despite it using graphical CG and not actual models.

Edit: Totally misread the country, my bad.

I apologize for the tediousness, but Australia and Austria are different countries.
In your case - Australia, the user of Thialf has higher -Austria.
