Unity - Unaware in the City [v39a Basic] [Mr. Unaware Studios]

Although the game is acutely repetitive and very frustrating looking for new events [because I don't really understand the list of events - because it's not user-friendly] but I enjoy it and hope that the game will only open with new events and updates because I'm hungry for simulation games

cool game

At first i didn't think i would like this game, but after putting a few hours in I quickly changed my mind. It's hard finding a game like this that's actually well made and I can tell if the effort is put in it will go far.

The game play is good, graphics have a few flaws in the models but outside of that they are great. It just ticks a lot of the righ tboxes for me.

Hope to see some good updates in the future.

Positive:
1. This game provides ample exploration with a wide variety of positive and negative traits that you can combine.
2. It also provides detailed explanations for every action you take and its effects.
3. This game also provides a complete detailed explanation for each trait effect and reputation for each character in the game.
4. This game also provides different difficulties based on the character you choose.

Negatives:
1. This game only shows one side of the character's body
2. Information on the character's menstrual cycle is still a little ambiguous
3. There are some annoying bugs (Note: I'm sure the developer will fix these bugs in the future)

Bugs:
1. There is a bug during the event with the taxi driver where the bar only stops at 0% when pressing the next button.
2. The character's pregnant belly doesn't appear due to the trait switch to doctor

looking for this kind of gameplay for a long time.
making our own decision and multiple ways to play it.
There are events we can choose to trigger or not.
Dialogues are nice, not too long.

Probably would be great to replay some scenes with our current character.
a bit buggy but the ideas are there. cant wait for the full product!

this review is for v36c

TLDR: too similar to older games that did the exact same thing, only this one has a pay wall and an angry developer who doesn't like people using built-in functions of the game to make the game enjoyable.

So I'll start this off with the obvious: there have been multiple games almost exactly like this one that have come out years before this one, with the only difference in this one being a slightly more in-depth character creation screen that even takes some traits (pun intended) straight from Crusader Kings III. Unfortunately, that is the end of the positives for the game.

The character models all stand around looking like they are trying to do their best Donald Trump impression, leaning their upper halves awkwardly forward like they're trying to keep an awkward boner away from someone they're about to hug.
The character models also suffer from a deadly disease known as uglius fuckius which makes them all look like cheaply made early 00s flash characters, even the PC suffers from this disease as there are maybe only one or two combinations of assets that make their face not look like a melted barbie doll that was beat with a bat.
Again, if this was an early 00s game, the art would be fine, but this is 2024 so the art and animations should be way better than this.

Now onto the gameplay itself.
As many other reviews have stated, the game is designed to waste your time and even admits this upon launching the game at the main screen.
However, if you fork over money to their patreon (or use some specific patches found on this site much to the rage of the developer) you get access to a metric fuck tonne of useful options that make the game actually enjoyable for people who don't want to have to play the same grindy loop in a porn game for days on end.
I really don't understand the developer's issues, especially since they have even admitted that some of their patrons don't use the "cheats" to play the game, so locking people out of these options shouldn't even be happening if it isn't necessary to enjoy the game.
However, the mere existence of all of these built-in "cheats" means the developer knows that the game is not enjoyable for people playing the game and is just choosing to lock core functionality behind a paywall because they want to use it as a means to stiff people out of some money if they want a genuine experience of the game's content.

On that note, now onto the "content."
So there isn't much to say here honestly, it's your typical life sim game where you start out as an innocent girl who rapidly turns into a full blown cum dumpster.
You pay your landlord every week (or fuck him), you work at a shitty job where you casually fuck people for money on top of being a waitress, and then you rinse and repeat until you get bored and stop playing the game. Yeah there are some other "story" aspects of the game you can choose to follow, but just like in real life, you don't have to do anything unless you want to, which also kind of makes a lot of the game really pointless since most of the game involves being "forced" into lewd or dangerous situations...where you can just choose not to participate.
There is no meaningful corruption or growth in your character, you just go from being not a slut to being the biggest slut in the world within the first few days of gameplay (I didn't even use the "cheats" to do that either, I just kept watching porn, masturbating, and engaging in sex scenes...that's about it).
Pregnancy "exists" but only if you choose to have sex...just like literally everything else in the game.
It all exists, but only if you willfully choose to engage in it, and only to a minor degree, so keep that in mind if you came looking at this for any of the things the game is tagged as having.

This game looks very promising but I think it needs a LOT more content to make it worthwhile.

Try it if it catches your attention, but you will probably get tired of it after a few hours.

I will follow the updates and if it continues on the right path it could be a masterpiece.

the graphics are much better than previous version, but it's still shit. groping is very bad. the only good thing going for this is that fucking has an "inner view" on the side, where penis enters a vagina. and that's kinda sexy i guess. but everything else is in 2d from the side. sometimes looks very clunky and bad, and no groping feels "real". it feels really really empty.

furthermore game is very grindy, although it has some direction to it.

but it's too consensual as well. the initial grope a lot of the time is forced, but then you are free to choose what happens... breaks immersion.

so with very mediocre art/sex scenes and a lot of grind, and immersion breaking "choices" i can't give it more than 2/5. it's just too flawed.

great game but can i suggest some rework on those feets? don't get me wrong please, but i think they're too ugly xD and compared with UOTC even...
Or we could receive more predefined types to be choosing with!

The idea of this game is very cool, the mechanic and perks are easy to understand, and I like the stories so far. Can't wait to have an end goal for each background, the content for Rat King and if possible, more random rape events.
But at least post a guide somewhere, it's too vague to play this with only hints. Also, the game crashed more often than I would like, sometime it runs smoothly for 3 hours, then crashed after loads of progress. I don't think my pc is the problem, but yes, it crashed (Version 35)

I played 2 games like this in forum. If you did, too, I think you knew inspiration the dev gets from. But to compare this game to them, it not even close.
First bad thing is HUD, it's terrible.
Next thing is plot and grindy gameplay, it misses the point of "nature corruption" mostly out of touch with player immersing and engaging. Animation is fine, but not so many, get old soon.
Maybe it's his first project, so 3 star is decent, but you will need to improve a lot.

Good:
1)Frequent updates with big progress
2)Good art
3)A lot of potential and promising roadmap
4)A lot of non vanilla and non con scenes. I hope variety of scenes and scenarios, and their amount will further be expanded. Because vanilla romance sex and scenes is boring
5)Big amount of character customization by traits and visuals
6)Good and simple controls, not complicated gameplay

Suggestions:
1)Add portal panties content
2)Add more content related to exhibitionism, where someone could spot that you dont wear panties and so on. Will be added according to roadmap in [v35-v36]
3)More non con scenes, maybe hypno content or being spiked by drag that makes you horny (this drug was in scene in bar toilet)
4)Scenes list screen could be better designed to easier requirements checks and navigation
5)Please dont focus on primary Needs (eating, sleeping & optional pissing) [v35-v36] - this is too boring, this should be porn game not real life
6)Dont abandon development

I'm going to give it 4 stars because the design is solid, and the concept has a lot of potential. Now, in the current state (33c Extended), the scenes repeat themselves a lot. But I think that as the game gains content, it can be very interesting to unlock the various scenes and not have it be the same every day.
Some have complained about the graphics, but I like them. They're not the best in the business, but they work.

At first it was crap, but now I really, really like it. I hope this will turn into a masterpiece in the future.
The graphics were changed and this changed the game. What I would like to see is a greater variety of situations. There are a lot of them, but they all get boring very quickly. And the downside is that they work using the same algorithm.
For example, a man with a knife bursts into the toilet. She may scream and he will run away. But he could have hit her or rape her or cut her clothes or jerk off on her. But unfortunately, the scenario for such situations is always the same. She says either yes or no. I hope this aspect will be improved in the future.

Conclusion:
I played the last version and the current Ex version for a long period of time now and need to share my thoughts on this game.
The game idea is pretty good, but I feel that the execution of it all is just bad and frustrating.
It all starts with the character customization, where you need to pick positive and negative traits.
Certain traits will annoy you by not letting you do certain events and the negative traits are forced upon you and bring irritating side effects that will make your experience even more frustrating.
It's painfully grindy where you need to grind money, buy certain things that will raise your stats back up, because they go down incredibly quickly.
It feels like a constant rinse and repeat that just sucks the joy out of the gameplay experience and is just slightly more acceptable with the cheat version of the game.
That version was unavailable until someone was gracious enough to share it on this site.
I can somewhat understand the Dev for saying that he doesn't want it public because cheats may cause bugs and therefore could create more reports.
But then again, this game is pretty much only playable with cheats, and who would buy that version if you don't like the base version?
I could do the things in the questlog, but the event sheet is just confusing as hell and all over the place.
Everything in this game just feels like it's purpose is to waste your time and to annoy you.
I tried it multiple times with this game but I might wait 6 months to a year to see if things changed for the better.

Cool game! I have never seen anything like this before. Interesting graphics, despite the fact that the game is in 2D. I was also interested in the plot, in few games your decision will really affect the game (this is if you don’t take large projects), but in this case it’s an indie game and you can simply give a standing ovation, because despite the fact that the project stage of development, you can already boast of your non-standard solutions - I think many have played other 18+ game projects, what was there? “Yes, insert; yes, shove” is monotonous, here your choice determines who the character will be in the future and what fate awaits him. Yes, even if the plot is not written out like a whole book of choices and further advancements, but what is there now will already interest you, and I think I’m not the only one who started a new game every time to see what would happen if you made a completely different choice.
Thus, I want to say thank you to the developer of this game, I wish him good luck and strength. I fully support this project and look forward to new updates every time, and they come out often and are interesting!

Beautiful graphic, i can create many sexy character from an A-cup twintail tsundere to a H-cup busty milf, the FMC is free to do anything from cooking, work partime jobs or fooling around withwith a filthy homeless guy and fertilized by him. I havent done much interaction much and i know this game is still in early access so i hope there will be more place to go and explore, and of course more quest chains, events that make the game story more dramatic, unpredictable and exciting cause after a few days the FMC life is quite mundane, just working jobs, shopping, sleeping around. So i think this game need a villain i guess? Some struggles, perhap more clear objective? One minus of an open world game is that its either repetitive or dont have much else to do, and as much as i like this game, i cant say im not feeling the same way. Love the graphic and character design but there isnt much story telling, that my speculation right now.

An immersive game where you can play for some (slightly repetitive) hours. The main draw isn't the sexual content neccesarily, nothing much out of the ordinary with a pinch of rape, but the 'immersive sim' part. I, for example, made a prudish virgin that never did anything sexual, fed the homeless on a regular basis (with food!), and still managed to scrape by. Had to buy pepper spray with my first chash though, just in case, you know.

Watch out, this game is still in development but had a massive overhaul and the upgraded version slaps. Great, interactive and immersive , lots of freedom to play your character, man i can't wait to more to come and it's getting better with each new update!

The game has potential but as how it is right now(v32) is not fun to play.
Pros:

- Character personality customization,

Cons:
- Negative perks are really crippling,
- Grindy(like seriously this is a porn game a don't wanna to grind for hours to get a scene or buy some item or clothes, etc),
- Time is to fast for how grindy the game isyou can barely do anything besides go to work and sleep(leaving no time to explore),
- Energy depletes too fast( if don't watch it closely you gonna pass out and loose a considerable amount of time)
