Good question. Now that the game is also on Steam, along with the upcoming one, and I’ve sold more copies than I anticipated, it’s helped me fund UiTC2 significantly. So, my conscience won’t let me just leave it as it is. While I don’t have the energy to handle 2 projects simultaneously, I at least want UiTC to be more polished and as bug-free as possible.

Yes, UiTC:R will still keep its open-world and free-roam style, and the storylines won’t interfere with that. The main storyline will revolve around the upcoming elections, which take place in 100 days. You’re not required to participate, and you can ignore them entirely. The world itself doesn’t care much about Jane; she’s not a superhero destined to save the world, but just a girl moving to The City. While her actions can have a ripple effect, the elections will still happen, and the world will move on without her involvement. Naturally, completing or failing the storyline will have consequences, but there won’t be any game overs (unless specifically stated in a quest).

The game won't have a "typical" ending, as I'm aiming for something similar to what Fallout 2 did - once you finish the main plot, you'll get a summary of the events, and then you can continue playing endlessly until you get bored. There will be a few situations that lead to a game over, but nothing like that is currently planned for the main plot.

As for revisiting old events, that's a bit tricky. I kind of want The City to move forward, so not all events will remain available indefinitely. For example, some events might only be triggered between Day 10 and Day 30, because something else happens after Day 30. This is still in the design phase, and not all events will follow this logic - some will remain available whether you trigger them on Day 1 or Day 1000. Others might trigger automatically if the player ignores them for too long, to help the story progress. You know, making a truly open-world game that doesn't feel disconnected or collapse under its own weight is quite a challenge, while at this point I don't want to promise anything that I might fail to deliver.

I'm reserving judgement until we actually have a character creator to play around with. I was able to make a character I liked in the original art style despite initially thinking that I wouldn't, so I'll see if I can accomplish the same in the new art style.

It's more so the shift to more anime-esque(?) style that I'm not full fan of, but it also depends if I can make Rogue or Jean from X-MEN again

You can use the latest "Download X" link - it will always link to the latest cheat table i did make. Every version will require

(latest version recommended - some tables require a min version of CE - see changelog. But it would tell you if requirements are not set. If you ever experience a failure please post/or send me the output).

As per definition what is a cheat table: it is information for cheat engine to know which addresses to hook/watch/edit/..... A public table is made in a version that is usable for most users, while those with some programming knowledge will be able to check how it's done as it's open source.

If your question was about the other cheats: my table by far surpasses (current) other mods, as they unlock extended cheats only. My table allows more but requires an extra tool, a bit of work in required, but instead is more future proof.

Years ago, I remember playing the unaware of the world. This one is much better, I think this game shows how a simple side-scroller game can be so much fun. I hope more similar games are developed but with a better story, deeper and well-written dialogues, sexy and funny mini-games, etc.
