Ok, I understand that we have the “broken” and “hollow” state, but can't we have an obsessive love state? or at least something similar?
Can be when reaching the maximum level or doing the bad route, I feel that there is almost no difference between those states and I'm a bit disappointed that this can't be done, at least as an option.
I highly doubt that I'll add any more mental states. I was planning on adding more, but it dawned on me just how much extra work every additional mental state is. It'd make future update tedious and take much longer to make.
a bit ashamed to admit it took me so long to realize that you're just the code guy, not the art guy, but damn you know how to pick em, the girls look adorable!

It's when you leave the bedroom after your "fun". She mentions checking on Chara (who happens to be looming in the doorway). You walk over with her to Chara and nothing happens. No dialogue or anything. Just...staring.

Alright, thanks for reporting that, I found the bug.
It seems to happen ONLY when Chara has been hollowed prior to doing the quest.
It'll be patched when the next update drops, for now I recommend going back to a save prior to hollowing Chara and doing the quest before changing Chara's mental state.

Alright, so what about make the girls be evil if you follow a bad route? or at least more immoral, i wish we could manipulate a little bit the behavior of the girls depending on the route we follow, or maybe it could work as a memory or extra option in the mind room.
Or if that can't be done, at least see them be a bit mean or immoral on their own, giving an example.
I just feel that the “Hollow” and “Broken” options waste a lot of potential cause neither of them have any special dialogue, most of the time there is no dialogue at all from the characters, they just say things like “yes, sir” and that's all.

I do see what you mean though, something to change the girls for the worse, and not alter all of the dialogue involved with them, just adding a few quotes. And that's a fun idea! But I don't want to half-ass something like corruption, I want every change that happens to a girl to be significant and significantly change every scene that the girl is involved with, so every new "Mental state" or change in personality exponentially increases the amount of work I have to do for just about everything, especially group sex scenes. Even just with the current scenes, I have to completely rewrite every scene to account for the following mental states: Normal, Hypnotized, Hollow, and Broken.

In the end, I just don't have making girls more evil as something on my list right now, especially since that list is already filled with things I need to do for the game (Add Muffet, Revamp the entire map, etc.). Maybe in the future, when I've just about finished part 1, I may add corrupted personality changes, but don't hold your breath over it.
Also to everyone reading this, I've posted a poll on the

I can't continue the quest in the underground with chara in 5.2. I can walk around the room after entering the mountain, but can't progress to the next area north.
