Why is there simply no content? I killed a lot of time on management and was able to win the first competitions and also got into the top 3 students. But at the same time I did not advance with Violet. Or rather, nothing happened to her at all until they told me (stop bro, that's all) In the end, I decided to just take apart the game and see what was in it. It turned out (nothing)
I defended this one early on, but dude - it's been a damn year - where's the fuckin' fucking?

This week was the first one when I could finally properly sit down and work on the game. It really didn't go as well as I initially planned, but I did manage to get at least somewhat decent progress. One more event is written for Mitsuki, which puts her completed events at two. If things go well, I will probably finish writing her third even next week, or the one after that, and by that time her sprite will be done too, and I will be able to finish coding them.
I also managed to write another random event, this time, one of the fan favorites, and our kinda mascot character Maeve, the Fairy Queen. She will have her own short side story-line in the game and how you approach your encounters with her might have major consequences for you character. But that's in the future, so now, it is just one more event .
Also, I was contemplating on making a guide for the game for some time now, but couldn't completely decide on the matter. But what turned out to be the final straw, was the fact that I accidentally noticed that there was no trigger in the game for getting the Groundskeeper helper job that I added almost half a year ago. I don't know if I didn't add it in the first place, or if I deleted it by accident sometime later, but it wasn't there.
The fix will be coming in the next week's update, of course, but with the game in development, if people don't know what events they should be getting and when, I will not be able to get any meaningful feedback. So I decided that I will be releasing a guide for 10$+ supporters as they are the ones that get the most recent version of the game and both them and me would benefit the most from knowing where and how they should be able to unlock content.
I guess that's all with the news for now. Hopefully this week will be even more productive than the last one.

I liked Talamhdan House more (The idea of an underestimated house student standing out is interesting for me), but a unicorn as the house animal is kinda gay tbh.

Yes but, unicorns and rainbows are pretty established symbols for the gay community nowadays. Kind of like if someone started a club and called it "Men Against Gaming Addiction" and started handing out red caps with the club's initials on it, a lot of people would not want to wear it because of the association.

The difference being that, if you're actually a masculine straight dude, you're chill with gay people, but if you aren't in MAGA you're almost certainly not chill with them.
Not to mention, Unicorns are associated with gay people sometimes, but other times aren't. In, just for example, a modern fantasy setting where magic and myth is actually real and the characters and plot are perhaps wizards who deal with magic pretty constantly, unicorns aren't gay, they're just magical horses.
