Indeed, you will see a lot of different scenes from the previous version of the game. In this revamped version, there are several characters that get revamped too. Since I also add more additional scenes here and there, I think it's better for old/new players to wait for the revamped version.
Wait around 10-14 this month for the post about the revamped version progress.

Devs been saying thah he would say something about the next update but just say something about it so there is no release date and i wouldnt count on it any time soon

Actually it should have the tag yes, since on patreon the last post was April / May? but I think the dev commented here in August and in discord sometimes he talks Even if only says "good morning" (I haven't seen the discord for a long time
) I think f95 is guided by publications on patreon that's why it catches my attention, maybe since the mods or staff see the dev's comment in the thread, that's why they don't put the Abandoned one.

depends if the remake shows up on this thread or it starts a new thread. at least from what i've seen some other remakes do that's usually the deciding factor.

Not necessarily, as the dev himself is the one reworking the current game and not scrapping everything to start over. Iirc, he's tweaking the characters personalities and some of the plot to something closer to what he has in mind that works for the story he wants to tell.

Something that I'd like to suggest.
Perhaps you could put a progress tracker on your Patreon, as a public post (so that anyone can see)?
Nowadays, I'm seeing more and more Devs using them, who don't want to give out ETAs, but still give an idea to everyone rough estimate of how much progress has been made and how much till it gets released.
An example of progress tracker would look like this:
Now of course, it doesn't necessarily need to be quite as detailed as this, but still something like it I think could be useful not just for this remake, but for all the future updates of the game.
