Even if you win, unlocking the remaining (not 'to be added later') poses seems to be multi layer RNG hell.
As some of the grabs/hit confirms into grabs? Can have alternate grapple scenes, sometimes. Like how the "Thigh smother" from the childhood friend finally triggered by letting the pose I got that from land a ton of times and then get that, instead of an armbar.
Why would I even do this level beyond the usual "check everything again"? Accidentally discovering "Oh no... oh no the same grab attack poses can result in different scenes during a fight phase!?" on an accidental botch with mila.
So yeah. extra RNG layer of "Oh sometimes the fight phase can pass without them even USING certain attacks (now that you want them) instead of spamming it" while reloading a fight phase start save over and over.
Another one off the top of my head is getting the Arm triangle Choke from Milla (military girl). From a grab stance which always lead to a headscissors type pose whenever I botched it before. And my RNG luck is so cursed, starting phase 1 to fight green military girl milla just now to double check had no grab attempts of any kind in phase 1... which would normally be a lucky miracle, but when scene hunting? hah.
They are the exception, but having such an exception when scene hunting reminds me of my eyerolling at "inconvenience while everyone screams 'you hate a challenge'".
Currently got all the listed non-date scenes legit except for reverse piggyback from your childhood friend. "okay did I honestly overlook something? Is it 'oh that one grab type can do another grab' again, or will it only be possible to trigger while I have vision blocking status effect in effect from botching another type of grab, like there is a scene that only happens after botching the low kicks multiple times with milla?"
It is mostly stubbornness that has me not using the above listed unlocker yet. But I sure as hell saved it. Expecting someone to declare that means I'm "casual" for posting anything but "Actually the game should be harder" for an H game. (Why do so many H games have worse timing than sekiro?).
On a lighter note. The mashothons in this game are not atrocious. even if they can feel that way when they do back to back "one grab scene escaped leads into another". My standards have been ruined by devs thanking me for tracking down game breaking bugs then telling me "but we can't possibly nerf mashing! it would make the VG to easy!" when the mashing is so aggressive even activating an auto-clicker for the sake of my aging wrists can barely beat it.
This game's mashing does not cause me physical pain to attempt. Even if combat QTE timing is very much "Why is a horny game, again, making me yearn for deflecting guardian lasers with a pot lid as a comparably relaxing time?".
Love the concept, and plenty of the scenes and lines are amazing when it is at it's best. (so far as 'the most naughty it gets is stained shorts' goes)
But it does pass that line from "Sexy getting my ass beat" to "Oh, this is just awkward on purpose" even with some of the game design too that is just flat progression.
Like sucking all the fun out of "You idiot, you let yourself get counted because they taunted you?" when it turns out NOT throwing a punch (The rare times you can) still leads to the same counter.
Which I can go along with, right until a girl mocks me for being on the defensive all fight instead of throwing punches. Then I'm not thinking about how strong she is like to use above examples, boko games (I miss paying for things on DLsite not being so absurd that getting my card to agree to let me buy points works for one day and succeed, before then the points site starts complaining instead a few days later while my bank assures me things are clean on our end).
I'm thinking "Game only let me throw one punch, lady. at least mock me for many times I didn't quite stop you from kicking me in the balls by 0.2th of a second! You know, something actually my fault?"
Praise "Complained, and then it worked" EDIT: So the lightning punch that normally does a sitting on bed headscissors, decided after an Nth time letting it hit me, to do the missing pose instead.
When you turn losing to cute girls in a fight, even on PURPOSE, into busywork? Welp.
"Lose to the girls in all possible ways!" I did that already cheevo, just had to do it dozens more times on top.
These are pretty valid points since it's not everyone's cup of tea, so I could see how one would feel odd at the mere contradiction. Some people like it, some people don't. You do you, man.
