Its a solid game. The writing is a bit wonky (probably because of translation issues). Sometimes its not clear why you cant pick certain choices (maybe add an indicator to it (your xxx is to low/high)).
The plot itself is quite generic but not bad and the art is quite good.
I am not a big fan of the "trial and error" flashbacks - there is no point in having choices if you have to pick the right ones. And flashbacks by nature shouldnt have choices - we are were we are because things happend in the past.
It is a waste of time that could be invested in progressing the story forward. Just make the flashbacks compact and condensed to give the player the context that is needed and thats it.
Also I dont think that the Buttons add anything - why do I have to click on a button to progress when it is just a "Go to ..." without any other options? Why bother the player with that?
