can you share a save file ? and even the persistent
to test it
it seems to be the save....I check my old saves (1 year old) and the mod works fine there...seems like something broke after that (cause saves after that have the same issue)

good news - its not the save or persistent file
i recommend a clean install (new) of the game - i am right if i say you overwritten some old files with a new update?

saved game from my working version - may test it ↓

doing a clean install and using the mod still gives the same error


the mod works fine for some of my older saves tho
so it feels like a save issue :(

Edit: asked for save from a friend...he has the same issue as well
maybe the dev used int for something else (in a newer update and is causing this error)

i had no problem with your save file - weird

well the the auto-detecting of choices, etc works
just alt + m gives the error no matter what
and only for some saves

can you load my save file, save it and then send it back? (as well as your working save file)
wanna see if it's the problem on my end or the mod

its the language used - try english - this works - russian throws the error

and its your save i posted above - saved at my game
I use english tho...still same error
ah well...I give up
if the same save and persistent works for you and not me, idk what the fuck is going on anymore :confused:

its not even the language as i thought ~.~

it works on both languages , save load , restart watchpanel on/off
not able to reproduce your error
only with shaddy mod and lang switch it crashes

you maybe got a broken game download - my last guess
i downloaded from gofile link

but then why older saves work tho?
like the mod works perfectly for saves from 1 year ago or more
latest ones throws the error

did you delete persistent file here too? *\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\LordKing-1584945053

im out of ideas ... sorry

so I guess this load/save options has some hidden bug then (which happens to some and not for some)

also might be game dependent too, since loading 1.5 on eternum worked flawlessly

yeah thats why i mentioned first to deactivate "ask name before saving" - that caused an error in an other game for me too (dont remember which one)
but its not the case here - would be to easy wouldnt it :D - and i was not aware you talked about the mod save/load function at first ~.~
i was able to reproduce this error now , using the mod save/load function breaks something 0x52

I already tried this, but for some reason it didn't work as expected.
But I will put some more effort into this.
If it does not turn out.

Question: Is it possible then to make an option to not ask for variable names?
To no / yes without the appearance of the text entry window.

trying the mod on game Lord King (v1.4) gave this error....it has renpy v7.3.5.x so it's not coz of non-supported version I assume

the mod loaded properly the first time but then going to the save/load screen started this error....now anytime I try to start this (press Alt M), it gives error (tried it by loading other saves as well but the TypeError: 'int' object is not callable happens everytime)

I do have console & dev mode enabled, so I tried it in another game with both on as well but had no issues

Anyhow, problem should be solved now (with URM 1.5.1)

You mean you want to be able to change a value between false/true without opening the "modify variable" dialog?
I'm not going to do that, because that would create inconsistency in the interface and the dialog offers extra options/information.

took me a while to be aware he talked about the mod build-in load/save function ... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
