Ren'Py - Unlimited Pleasure [v1.0.7] [Waifston]

The last time I played this game was a few years ago, right after the first remake came out. So, I was really excited to finally play it again after waiting so long for more new content, but the excitement quickly got fumbled. Like, what the hell is going on right now? That's what I thought during the first hour of playthrough. Why does the story and all the scenes feel so freaking weird? Not to mention the huge amount of bugs and the poor English. The chore things are way too grindy and meaningless too. After i get a bug that stop me from proceeding my day, i stop playing the game. Overall, it was a massive letdown. While this game held so much promise, and I fondly recall enjoying it a few years back, now I find it simply isn't worth slogging through all these shortcomings.

This game is everything that nobody wants: Grind shit with no reward, lackluster story and poor sandbox with a lot of things to click wihout any meaning.

PROS:

• Female models are amazing and their animations are A tier.

CONS:

• Everything else. Plot, if you can even call that, is utter nonsense, all the time trying to be "haha, so funny and quirky" and failling miserably. MC model is awfull and his dialogue is cringy as fuck. The grind I can muster, altough it is boring, but put on top of that bugs, even for the simplest things, nonstop Ren'Py error screens.

Don't play it. Maybe the pre-rework version, but I didn't have the courage after playing the latest versions.

Before you make any assumptions about this game and whether you should play it or not, let me tell you this:
DON'T PLAY THIS GAME.
Yep, it's as simple as that. No matter what your kinks are or what kind of person you are this game will only bring terror and dissapointment into your life. Unless you play the pre-remake version, that is. That one is fine.

Now, this game is not entirely evil. It has objectively good renders and animations. And... thats it.

But no matter how good the visuals are, nothing will save you from all the bull this game has, of which there is a lot:

Non-sense: The whole story just doesn't make any sense. I try to remember what the game is even about as i'm writing this and i just can't. There is so much going on and it is so random that i stopped proccessing what is happening after like ten minutes of playing.

Grammar: The dialog and overall text in this game is just as cringe as the story is. It a funny cringe though. Or at least that's what i thought until i realized the whole game is full of this crap.

Bugs: This game is buggy. Like, REALLY buggy. You don't even need to try to break the game, because sometimes even the basic interactions are resulting in ren'py error thingy. Sometimes these bugs are relatively harmless, but there are also some that lock you out of certain roots and interactions completely.

THE GRIND: The sole reason why this game is so hated. Not the non-sense story and dialog, not the bugs, but grind. This is a single most grindy game i have EVER played. And i played a lot.
There are a lot of grindy games. Some expect you to spend like half an hour to unlock a scene, some expect you to endlessly click through menus to get any kind of progress. But these games have something in common: they reward you for your time. How little or how big the reward is irrelevant. The grind in these games has a destination, a goal, or anything that makes the process at least somewhat worth it. This game doesn't have any goal behind its grind. It's just there.
In this game, you have your week split into two distinct parts: the weekends and the weekdays. On the weekdays you have to do chores. Sounds simple. The problem is that the whole ingame weekday is you doing chores. You wake up - you do chores, you go to school - you do chores, you go to work - you do chores. And you have to do this for five ingame days straight. There is no content in between. You don't get money, you don't get scenes, nothing. And you can't skip to weekends either. So it's just grind for the sake of grind. Once you do get to the weekends the game actually starts. You can start progressing with the girls, do whatever you want... until the next streak of weekdays come. That is the most frustrating gameplay loop in the history of forever. I enjoyed playing foddying games, by the way. Just saying.

In conclusion: this game is garbage, don't play it.
If you really dig the renders, donwload the one before the remake.

the game was good, it had interesting ideas, then the remake came, what was good became bad, a lot of secondary characters were added, a horrible sandbox was added (I don't hate sandbox games but what was done here was really bad), but it was still playable, it had room to be ok again apart from the stupid sandbox, then this last update came after a long time and everything went to shit, a remake of the remake was made and left the game unplayable, the game turned into a pile of shit random and nothing makes the slightest sense, I honestly don't think there's any way to save what this has become, which is sad because I really liked it

I played this game both before and after the rework. I do like that effort is being put in to update and fix many things, the character models are fantastic for the women and the animations are good as well, I also like the set up for the town and story minus one MAJOR detail.

The main glaring issue that makes this unplayable for me is the MC. His character model is terrible and every bit of dialogue from him is brain rot, like he operates on a single brain cell. It's like he should have been the comic relief character and only have small parts, then go away, but he doesn't and is the MC.
The over the top douche BS should be sprinklled in, not full blast and never shut off. This game has buckets of potential, and is only being held back by a terrible MC. If he was re-worked in both writing and character model I'd be all in on this game.

daily quest makes it unplayable and grindy as hell. if you can just skip that annoying daily quest game would've been fine. games keeps getting harder and harder to playthrough. basically you can't understand the game anymore if they keep putting different unobtainable story. you don't even know how to progress anymore.

So I really really used to love this game and looked for updates all the time for it. This last update the game kept giving me errors, sending me back to the main menu or crashing. I tried to trudge through the errors with the ignore button but there was a moment that I was getting too many at once.

I loved the story and how it used to start but when I played it over again this go, I was left confused by what was going on with it. The game is not at all what it was once. It is a totally different game in the shell of what I really enjoyed. And I noticed this a few updates ago.

I feel that the introduction of a new girl/lady made me have to start the game over to find them and it took out parts of the game I remembered. I feel like the Dev is trying to add too many different/various aspects and mechanics to this game and it is royally detracting from the game itself. I know this game has been in development for quite some time but I think this will be in Dev Hell because of the amount of things trying to be added to the game rather than work on what he has and polish the game to be better.

I would also suggest aside from not adding more mechanics to the game that he really flesh out the girls he has before adding new ones in. I have seen too many other games start to focus on adding more people to lewd up rather than work towards more with the ones they have.

have played the game since the release. where i did like the original version, its the second version after the rework was what got me intrigued. i fell for the story pacing and thriller atmosphere along with the great character and animations. i was enjoying the game very much and was always looking forward to the next update. but all of a sudden one day the dev decided to change the game again and revert it back to its original which was a shock to me cause in my opinion it was a great downgrade. but i still hoped it wont be so bad. but i was wrong. My fears came true and the game went from bad to worse as each update came after that second so called rework, to the point i completely lost interest in a game that was once one of my favorites from the early days. It was as if the dev has changed or has no clue what they themselves want anymore. Fast forward and i still visit to check if something had changed or if the dev has reverted his decision or something but i get dissapointed. And according to the comments and reviews, i am not the only one who feels this way.

Literally unplayable. Forced you to complete activities but the game won't let you actually do those activities so you cannot progress. Avoid this game at all costs. It had potential early on but more and more crap was added and it just broke the game.

This game used to be decent. The story was meh but the thing it had going for it was character models and animations. Sadly, that's all it still has and it was made worse 10x.

The tedious chores you have to do now all week. You can't even get to anything good till the weekend and you can't even get there sometimes because it's a buggy mess. One of your LI's is shoving dildos up other dudes asses now (whether it's a joke or not don't wanna see that) The story is all over the place and leaves you more confused then anything else.

Another thing that needs to be said. This dev likes to go around on other dev threads and talk shit about how bad their games are, when they're more successful then him.

All and All this remake of the game is the worst out of all versions of the game, I believe this is the 2nd attempt at a remake. I highly suggest people stay away from this train wreck.

Good Points
+ Art style and models of the women/girls look good.
+ We have well-made animations for the sex scenes.

Bad Points
- It's full of bugs, you can't even progress because of current bugs, bugs literally can soft-lock you from progressing, yet DEV is not fixing the bugs, and he doesn't even acknowledge the bugs, and instead of fixing the bugs he goes other game posts and trash talks about other DEV's & their games and talks about how great his game is, etc, and after waiting months or a year he makes another update without fixing any bug at all, and honestly I'm clueless at this point why he is acting like this...
- It is pointlessly grindy, there is no need for it to be this grindy, yet it is.
- It's full of nonsense and annoying minigames.
- It has a very bad translation.
- The story and dialogue are not well-written at all.
- It's a 5-years-old game, and the visual quality is not good at this point.

For The End
The game is a mess, there are tons of problems existing together, and honestly before the ''remake'' this game was great, sure it wasn't a well-written story rich adult game or something, but it was a well-made porn game with hot women/girls and well-made animations, and that was enough, especially content with the nuns was pretty good, but with the ''remake'' the game's downfall is started and it's still falling... Until the DEV decides to fix the game problems I advice you to avoid it at all costs and save yourself from wasting your time on it.

I can't express how disappointment I am with the latest update. The game has basically become chore simulator. There's a list of tasks you have to do every weekday, and the way it goes about this is so tedious. You have to do 4 sepeate chores before you're even allowed to leave the house! You're not rewarded for it either, it's just a thing that the game forces you to do every in-game day. It's absolutely absurd! I'm starting to doubt that there are any new scenes in the game. If there are, I wouldn't even know because I'm stuck doing goddam chores every single day!

I used to be excited for the development of this game. It's always been unpolished and had a good amount of bugs, but at least the content used to be there. Now, the developer spent months just adding random nonsense to the game and now THIS is what we got. This update has single-handedly killed any excitement I had for future updates, so thanks for that Waifston.

Ignoring the blatant google translate English, It used to be good....somewhat. It was better than most games being uploaded at the time.

but these new versions are dogshit. I almost feel bad for the people who still actively give this dude money. Delusional people i say.

Also the dev has a history of trash talking other developers for no reason, while this pile of garbage can barely make it past the introduction without breaking down.

I really had high expectations for this game, but over time I have seen the true nature of its developer, it is made to attract people who invest money and keep them in an endless loop of development without progress, we all know that there are many games like this around here .

Everything indicates that the developer will continue to scam its people and hopes that fans will fix all the problems in their game through patches.

I think I will have to wait 3 years like other developments to really see new content.

This dev roaming around this site trash talking about other games instead of fixing his own game, the graphics arent even the best, bugs everywhere,the story and dialogues also confusing, so maybe rather than trash talking other games perhaps you can get a bigger mirror and reflect on how your own game instead.

Started playing the game but very disappointed in it.Its quite fun at times and graphics ain't the greatest but its still decent enough but too many bugs in it.Had sex with all 4 of the girls,still say my date and sex count is 0.Also those falling heart sometimes get stuck and never ends,need to go back before they even show up,also all of a sudden you just start banging nuns like its nothing.I really do like the game and its decently written,has misspells every now and then but i don't mind that as long as i understand it.It definitely need a journal or some sort of guide,unlocking stuff randomly is ruining stuff,and ofc need to fix the bugs,still being a virgin after bunch of sex and being on dates but still have it at 0 needs to be fixed.Currently 2/5 is the max i can give this game

Broken and often unplayable, and no i am not being hyperbolic. i have never played a game with this many errors... and the dev just refuse to fix or even comment on these things he just keeps advertising his next update wich people wont even be able to play because the game is so broken. i cant even comment on the quality of the game because i cant even play it.

Who knows what they are trying to write.... It really ruins the story very quickly. Those quotes are from the first few lines of the game.... I can't imagine it would improve any later on.

I believe this is all in the 'newer' version after they remade it.... People keep paying them, though. Over a thousand dollars per month.... Very strange...

This game isn't really worth trying since the storyline doesn't make any sense. If it did, then maybe you could forgive the weird conversations.

Maybe they will redo it again and fix some of this. Until then it's rating should be less than one star.
