What can I say?
This game has gone through more iterations than I care to count. With little content being added, aside from a few "halloween" things to keep some of the Patreon supports happy - there is really nothing going on.
Walking animations seem to be a chore for developers in a wide range of titles, because they kind of float along like an extra from Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The animations for everything else are somewhat decent but, realistically - for all I know, these could have been ripped or downloaded from another source.
The assets for everything else seem to be from high-poly sources, usually suited for rendering an architecture project as opposed to being optimized for gaming usage.
The game also has DLSS or some variant thereof slapped in there for good measure, without the ability to disable it - so for those of you with high end rigs, you're going to have to suffer with that since, well, no way to know how the performance will be without that.
Controls are okay. Standard. I guess?
Menu music feels like I'm about to jump into a battle on Crysis 3 - as opposed to go and bang a couple of slappers in what can only be described as a suburban boredom house.
For now, this is a solid avoid - I don't usually write reviews in this method, but since I'm strapped for time, I feel it's a little rushed. I will come back and update it with a more in depth view, but for now - like this game, it's half arsed.
