I usually give 5 star ratings when a game makes me fall in love with multiple girls at the same time... However, this game, for the opposite reason...

Stay away from this game... if you DON'T want to fall in love with one character so much that you are afraid to find out what will happen between you and her in future episodes...lol Like I'm actually scared of getting dumped by her... or of the possibility that she's been friendzoning me already... lol What I'm telling you is that it feels so real...

Phenomenal dialogues as always, world-class renders, and yeah, it actually feels unscripted... The only weakness is constant bugs (which occur during making "important decisions", which I hope will be resolved in future updates.

TL;DR This game is so good that it makes you want to sing "The Way You Look Tonight" ... lol If you're into a witty girl... especially a dark-haired one... you'll love it... ˚‧⁺(͘๑̊/﹏)⁺‧˚

I want to give them shit for the "one of the most ambitious visual novels ever created", but honestly, it rings true. As far as erotic games go, anyway.
What I will give them shit for is the terrible implementation in the unity engine. Lagging VN is a first time experience for me, and not an enjoyable one either. On a technical level "Unscripted" is hanging by a thread - aside from the aforementioned issue, it has weird interaction with loading system randomly zooming in on the renders, and while it didn't happen in the end, the game desperatly tried to crash several times during playthrough. In fact it was so bad I will knock one star off, as it did impact my experience.

Otherwise the game's very top of the shelf. For once it's not infested with sex-addled zombies, but rather characters who actually resemble human beings. And while that's probably a deal breaker for majority of this forum's populace, to me it was like finding a lake in the middle of a goddamn desert. It did little to quench that thirst as there's hardly an abundance of content, but I'll make sure to follow this one closely, and hope to find more lakes just like this one in the future. Bar the horrible engine.

It's a bit early for a review, but stiil have smth to say.
Opening bar scene is very good. Really. Good atmosphere. Insensible drunk pals. Idiotic buffoon from Jersey. Love it.
Following scenes ( job interview and the first date in an amusement park) are more decent, but quite good as well (for a vn date simulator, I mean)
    It's very promising.

Ohh. And there is NO LEWD content so far. (ver 1. ep.1)

Gfx/renders are excellent and p much the reason it caught my eye. No anims to my knowledge; no lewd scenes either. The writing is exceptionally good for a porn game on a strictly technical level. As literature, less so.

The story is about an aspiring Hollywood writer and likely written by one as well, in the style of "relatable" realist YA fiction. I happen to dislike this genre, but even by its standards this is nothing special. On top of that it's one of those "story-driven" porn games that seem to treat the otherwise understandable and valid desire to tell a good story as proof of quality in and of itself; and what is more, mutually exclusive with including "too much" sex.

So this kid wants to make it big as a screenwriter and is pitching a script but there's not a single sentence spared on what the script is about (or the process of writing it) in the story so far. The characters are believable, but that's all they are. The girls don't fall over you the moment they meet you, or despise you for no reason (while secretly being in love with you), but they don't quite act like real girls would either. The MC's goes to a bar, chats up a random girl and his friend's sister comes up and starts wingmanning for him. The girl finds that so endearing she actually joins his group and has a nice old time. I guess that chain of events is plausible if your experience of modern dating/relationships is assembled out of the social media discourses about them, but it doesn't ring true with any real life experiences for me.

I respect the writing effort, so won't criticise it any further. It's quite a ways ahead of what is usually considered "great writing" around these parts and there are some genuinely good bits. But overall, a pass from me. Then again there's hardly any story to speak of right now, despite the 8 gb dl size. Maybe I'll feel differently when/if I revisit in a year or three. 3/5 for now.

    Unscripted [Season 1 - Ep.1] Review
My expectations were quite low but I had to change my mind!
In every aspect it is definitely above average (especially dialogues and the writing in general).
I know 8 Gb is a lot for a first episode...but please give it a chance, it is absolutely worth it!!
For those who were wondering, there are NO bugs.

An Absolutely Fantastic Demo. Unscripted presents a compelling narrative with well-written dialogue, relatable characters, and top-notch renders.

The only missing feature is a history or roll-back option, which would enhance the player's experience, especially following a nervous double click.

This demo stands out favorably from Undergrad's other work "College Kings", offering a higher level of production value and a more engaging story-telling experience.

I personally can't wait to keep playing.

    Edit after Chapter 1:

A dialogue history was added, but no rollback. Choices seem to matter so far. Overall, it's an absolutely stellar start. Fantastic!
