Plot
The game tells about a student and his relationship with a neighbor who is raising a younger brother after the death of the whole family. Her life is hard, and she copes with it as best she can, including with the help of alcohol. The main antagonists are local old men, especially the landlord, who plays a key role in the plot.
Gameplay
A typical visual novel: you click to move through the text. The only "unique" mechanic is the ability to sometimes see scenes from the heroine's perspective. It's presented as if the main character is somehow transferred into her mind, but there are zero explanations for this. It looks like a hastily screwed—up feature without meaning - the idea is interesting, but the implementation is frankly weak. Problems with logic and characters The side line with the heroine's brother looks especially strange. It is unclear when he managed to get close to the landlord and negotiate the "delivery" of the woman — before that, there were no hints of his interest in the opposite sex. The debauchery scene itself is presented clumsily and without proper preparation, which, however, is typical of the NTR genre. The heroine's fetish for old people raises even more questions. She cheats on the main character exclusively with them, but the motivation isn't revealed in any way. It would be possible to link this to a childhood trauma in order to at least explain her behavior, but the developers limited themselves to the bare fact without explanation.
Endings and their contradictions
The game has several endings: a classic "happy end", several options for caring for the elderly, and a "pseudo-happy end" (which I personally liked). However, even in the "good" ending, there is a catch: in the gallery you can unlock a video where the heroine (already being the protagonist's wife) continues to sleep with old men. This completely kills the whole point of a "positive" ending and puts it on the same level as a "pseudo-happy end."
At the same time, at the very end, Chiharu is shown to be faithful and loving, without betrayal — so where did these scenes come from?
It turns out that the developers contradict themselves, and the actions of the characters often do not correspond to their characters.
Graphics and sound
The visual is at an average level: there are successful CGS, there aren't so good ones. Nothing out of the ordinary. The voice acting and music are also without any special frills — just a background, nothing more.
Result
An average NTR novel with a formulaic plot, holes in logic, and mediocre graphics. Worse than Scars of Summer, but better than many other representatives of the genre. If you're an NTR fan, you can try it, but you shouldn't wait for a masterpiece.
