The characters look great on the title banner in the first post, but the preview images look very unappealing. Are the preview images just placeholders that will be removed or something? Not going to download if that's how it looks. No offense to the creator or anything, but those preview images just don't look visually appealing or even good to me like the banner does.

The style you like is the dev's own art style, all the character sprites are made this way, and some of the side-character sex scenes are also in this style-

But this is ultimately a passion project the dev has made with permission of one of their favorite artists, which is the majority of the sex scenes.

Honestly, even if the style doesn't appeal to you immediately, I still highly recommend it, or at least check out some of the dev's other stuff like Monster Girl 1,000 or Friendship with Benefits, which are almost entirely in the dev's own art style, including H-Scenes.

This game is effectively a tribute from one artist to another as a sign of respect, and the characters and story more than make up for any cognitive dissonance in my opinion.

You don't even really notice the styles changing after a while.

Because.. I complained about it? And did not watch the sex scene, because I do not want to watch Hazel, or anyone except the MC, take Aurora's virginity? The only people who see her downplay the significance it are going to be the people who complain and don't want someone else to take it.. that doesn't change the fact that it's a dumb thing to say? I suppose it's just Hazel trying to ease Lily into it, but it read awfully.

I don't really have any info about the other hangouts - I did Hazel's first, got frustrated, then went to try Lyra's... and Hazel shows up, so I just closed the game. She was my favourite of the maids (And probably favourite overall, aside maybe the Demon Queen), but I'll likely just be skipping her (and thus Aurora's) content completely from now on.

Everything said, thank you for the game and the update. I really do love the game as a whole, even if the most recent choices in the update are very much not for me.

It doesn't happen anyway! I think the problem is the mere fact Hazel asked at all.

Here's complete context:
In your harem, you have a girl called Hazel who has a girlfriend called Aurora, who is your step-cousin. Hazel loves Aurora, but she's also committed to being the protagonist's lover. For fun, she's going to train Aurora to be a, quote, "Slutty Fuck Hole" for you.
But before that, she wants to build Aurora up to that, she also wants to take her first time herself, and you'll be there to watch, then join in. It's a really fun scene.
However, because I know that some people can't even handle the idea of their sex power fantasy with 10+ girls being challenged even slightly, I had to include a skip button for this scene.

You seem.. very aggressive here. My apologies, I didn't mean to upset you. Regardless, I'm wrong, but it really does not read like she's 'asking if she can take her virginity.' it reads like she's telling you she's going to, she only asks if you want to watch. Because she flat out says she 'has a condition.' There is (almost) zero reason, as it is written, so assume when you say no that it doesn't happen, instead of it simply happening and you not watching, because that is exactly what Hazel says.

The only indication, which I fully admit to missing and/or misreading on my first go through, is Hazel saying "It was only going to be.." meaning she's not going to do it now that you've said no. Again, I did not mean to upset you. I feel this is somewhat easy to misunderstand, obviously, as I did. Maybe others don't make my mistake and I'm simply silly.

Eh, it could also be a me thing, but I personally don't care either way, Hazel and Aurora had an open relationship before they even met the MC, in 90% of other harem games, it's never considered that big a deal if two or more of the girls in a harem have their own relationships among themselves.

I appreciate the tact rather than just pointing and screaming 'NTR'. The problem is, I have to be so damn careful with my wording and the specifics for this situation to work and not piss people off, while simultaneously treating the situation with the respect and realism required for the characters.

Like, Hazel and Aurora are partners, and I suppose they're implied to do lewd things when you're around. (Although canonically they never do anything the player doesn't see on-screen, that's reinforced by their stats page)

While I admit I could have worded that better, I really wish I didn't have to constantly play this delicate balancing game. That's the reason this is the only skippable scene in the game and I wish I didn't have to do that.

It's never considered that big a deal if two or more of the girls in a harem have their own relationships among themselves.

Unfortunately, some people have very thin skin when it comes to this stuff. In Monster Girl 1,000 I added a flavour choice on whether to allow the girls in your harem to sleep with each other or not. This option literally has no effect on dialogue or scenes, it's just there to make some people feel more comfortable.

Also TwistedScarlett60 small question, but was the glitch with Hazel being a nudist not patched between updates? I may need to advance time for it to fix itself, but I have noticed she still only wears underwear or nude on reloading my old save to start the update, I just didn't see it in the patch notes.

You just have to advance time, I put a fix that checks on sleeping that fixes the clothing.

Really though I'm not in the "minority" if you actually think about it nor do you have any way to measure what you just pulled out of your ass, but whatever makes you feel good. I guess I'm aware of some of the developer's other games, since I bought FwB on Steam when it came out. I just wasn't sure what was going on with this art style change in this game. Unfortunately, I won't touch this new game since you say the majority of the scenes are in this differing art style. I'm sure the game is good, but if the visuals don't appeal to you, then they don't appeal to you. Not going to play a porn game when the art doesn't hit for me, you know?

Not thrilled about the protagonist deal either being a futa or femboy, but I would have been willing to overlook that. However, the art I cannot overlook.

Hope developer goes back to their normal art style with the next product. I'll be sure to check that one out if so!

I have 0 problem with them doing whatever together, onscreen or off. They've already announced they plan on making FWB 2 once this one is finished, which will likely be later this year, and will return to being 100% their own art style.

In that case I have to wonder what the real issue actually appears to be. You acknowledge that they were a pre-existing couple (albeit a rather loose one) and it was implied they fooled around long before Lily ever appeared. By all counts this shouldnt even be an option, in my opinion Hazel would have taken Aurora's virginity ages ago and you seem to agree that this would have been fine with you.

If you were fine with a foregone conclusion, then can it really be such an issue if Hazel takes her virginity while you watch? Is it an unreasonable possessive streak? Let the couple have their first time together I say. In fact I was kind of sad that to get to this point you absolutely have to take Hazel's virginity first. Alas, the whole cucking thing feeds into Aurora's fetish, so it's at least justified. But Hazel doesn't have that fetish.

I get that you misunderstood how the scene worked, but if it 100% was the way you thought it to be, I still have no clue what the issue is. Even on the off chance that Hazel is literally denying it to Lily, what's the matter? Aurora isnt your lover (yet) and this is totally fitting for Hazel's mischievious nature.
