people, i have a question about the original game, the original game is already finished but there is a mod version ( https://f95zone.to/threads/urban-demons-v0-8-2-fnfzone-mod-ver-5-5-bug-fix-g.11169/) and my question is, anyone know what is the difference between the mod version and the vanilla version and if the mod version is already finished?

press q to leave the otherworld, it will pop up with "wake up"

Good news guys! All you have to do to get that feature is... pay! That's right - you can just give Nergal your neetbux (he needs them more than you!) and he will write 5 more lines per scene for the "purity" route!
If you pay him enough, maybe, maybe, somewhere in 2028 he's even going to bring back characters that he cut out because of budget ahh reasons.

Because holding features (that were in by default in the original) in the "remaster" financially hostage is totally not a scummy move!
Please understand that the development of a copypasted remastered game from 10 years ago is a huge financial undertaking, especially because of all the new graphical assets like character sprites, which are NOT just copypasted upscaled assets from the RPGMaker VX Ace game from 10 years ago, new soundtracks, which are NOT the royalty-free generic soundtracks (also totally not copypasted from the audio folder), or even new map tilesets, which are ALSO DEFINITELY NOT just the copypasted map .png parallaxes from the game from 10 years ago!
I assure you, writing 5 extra lines per scene that replace the extremely high quality corruption writing from "YOU ARE A BASTARD PETAH BUT I LOVE DAT DICK FUCK ME HARDA" into extremely high quality "purity" writing that's "I LOVE DAT DICK PETAH FUCK ME HARDA" absolutely requires those extra 1000$ a month (ignore the fact you can't see the actual currency numbers on the project page, those are hidden because of important ahh reasons)!



God damn, he is reaching levels of scumbaggery even I didn't expect. Revoking a reward for a goal that was actually met? Holy shit. There is absolutely no proof that he didn't simply quietly raise the bar of that goal threshold, because, again - he is hiding the numbers, only a percentage value is visible. Unless that's a subscriber-only feature in which case he can also fuck off.

reading this reminded me something, wasn't original game abandoned and then community started to develop game by themselfs but when nergal saw it he suddenly returned and begun to again working on og urban demons and collected money for it?
Maybe it was other game but i think it was urban demons

i tried for like 30 minutes and I could only get 3 lights on and when I'm on the last try it just resets for some reason, this shit is so confusing

i think I realized why the character designs bother me so much. their faces are more triangular in the remake, where in the original they were more round in shape. I personally prefer the OG shape, I felt it made them look cuter

I have a mixed feelings about this game.
I tried the OG Urban Demons before this one and well...

Look at Neala face how cool she looked, that freckles, eyes, smile and lips, and how poor she look in remake. The most downgrade are Mom and Sydney, Mom lost her charm in look and look now like 80s-90s pornstar. Sydney is a bit closer to orginal, but the problem is, he made triangle shape of faces which looks stupid. They should be more round like in the orginal UD. I don't know what pushed him into this stupid idea. Maybe that stupid "Chad Lens" trend created by melted brain of incels, cause as I remember he wanted to make MC face to look like that. Good it get washed with criticism from his head, but still, it's preasent in characters shape of faces. The characters that are not implemented can still be fixed wiht low cost, but Mom and Sydney... well that's suck, cause to fix it creator nedd a more pressure from community. The last, simple thing is, the MC is a little bit too tall, a little.

Now for a good things.
As I mentoned at the begining I tried the orginal Urban Demons and when it gets to the meat of the game, sex animation. THEYE WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE QUALITY OF THE ORGINAL STANDING PICTURES. The animations from the remake are a lot better and match to the standing pictures that are present in remake. This is a big improvement compare to the OG Urban Demons. So THIS ONE IMPROVEMENT IS THE GOAT.

Now, for the routes, I'm glad community keep the pressure to restore the OG routes and not stick only to the corruption one. If you make remake, you should aim add more cool mechanics, not cut them down.

I have a rule for game creators, I only pay for finished products, and I can give a shot of support IF I like the idea where the game are moving. That's the only way to have influence on creators what they gonna deliver to us. If you gonna pay them without conditions, you are gonna get feeling mostly from dissapoited to scammed. You guys should be strict to creators, because this is their job, they make money from it for living. You are their clients, not "hello-kitty"cheerleaders.

Remember to criticise what is bad and aprovve what is good.





What he meant in his comment on subscribe, you have to start the new game to change the routes. With each character close to the begining of interaction, you have an option to choose which route you want with this character, and it's explained in the game. Have you even tried the game? Because the result of what are you writing is spreadin disinformation.

The comment on subscribe clearly states that every single new character from now on will have only corruption route, there is nothing about starting new game to change routes? where did you get that from?
I only played previous version, not 3.1 and asked for anyone who played that version if purity routes are still in game or not for clarification, but since attacking is better than simple clarification for you to do, i checked the update now. And Purity routes for 2 main girls are still here so theres that at least.

This update and the route of Amos has way higher quality than the other girls. I felt like the other girls gave in way too fast. This one felt like the right amount slowing getting her into it.

I only played previous version, not 3.1 and asked for anyone who played that version if purity routes are still in game or not for clarification, but since attacking is better than simple clarification for you to do, i checked the update now. BUT I can't disagree with what they said about the girls heads. The design has been bothering me since the beginning and the point they made about it compared to the OG I completely agree with. Shame everything else made them sound like an ass who doesn't know what they're talking about

Mod adds a few new characters and to have aex with other established ones that u couldn't before. The principle, and the daughters of Amos and Kimberly (loli, so you're warned when it'll happen if u don't like that stuff)

I can't remember everything they add but it still felt as incomplete as the OG game

New art, new scenes, but the game is far from being finished.

Content wise it currently has 3 routes including sex scenes with Mom, Sis and Teacher + Neighbour Milf was added this update. Only one route though. Next week should be Kimberly, the Asian Milf.

It seems nergal is at first just skipping world exploration and talking options and just focusses on adding all characters with their quest lines and then will likely polish the game with more location varying scenes and talk options.

So far it's a good looking game though!

If I remember correctly UD comes from another dev that abandoned the game(What a surprise) and Nergal took it to finish it at the same time with his own game(A zombie's life), he continued developing this one for a few months and got bored doing it, then the community took charge of it and started developing a mod to continue the game, after a few years(I think, it's been a while) Nergal came back and "finished" the game with an ending that no one cared.
So, if you pay close attention this game will never be finished.

If I remember correctly UD comes from another dev that abandoned the game(What a surprise) and Nergal took it to finish it at the same time with his own game(A zombie's life), he continued developing this one for a few months and got bored doing it, then the community took charge of it and started developing a mod to continue the game, after a few years(I think, it's been a while) Nergal came back and "finished" the game with an ending that no one cared.
So, if you pay close attention this game will never be finished.

I genuinely liked the ending. It just felt like the game was missing features it was hinting at, and needed a ton more bug fixes

So, how to trigger Kimberly? She appears like Sara and Lisa, but her icon appear at the map... yet, for some reason, I don't get to trigger the first event.
