RPGM - Urban Demons: Remake [v0.8.2] [Urban Demons]

I played this for a while and started to get annoyed at how little artwork there is. Like we hang out with the neighbors kid and we never even get to see her. Just text. Its more like reading a fucking book the playing a game.
You get the same 10 sprites over and over again. No change in expression.
Really fucking lame.

Not for me.

They say you can’t polish the past, but this remake seems determined to prove otherwise. Once a clumsy relic of ambition, the original game has been reborn — not flawless by any stretch, but undeniably improved. The developers, bless them, have managed to turn something once forgettable into something almost delightful.

The art remains imperfect — lines wander, colors occasionally collide — but it carries a personality no algorithm could fake. There’s an honesty to its roughness, a handmade sincerity that makes even its flaws feel endearing. It’s a bit like a painting you love not despite the brushstrokes, but because of them.

And yet, fate (or poor coding) was not entirely kind to me. A single, game-breaking bug shattered my progress and sent me back to the beginning. I grumbled, naturally — but as I replayed those early hours, I realized I was smiling more than I was sighing. Somehow, repetition made the charm more apparent.

It’s a better version of its former self — still awkward, occasionally exasperating, but filled with heart. And really, in a genre so often obsessed with perfection, isn’t heart what we came for in the first place?

This game seriously impressed me. If I could, I d give 6 stars. For the first time ever I d go for it. This game is that good.
I usually prefer 3D games, but Urban Demons has great stylized art that continuously delivers, not like some other 2D games that take shortcuts.
Super hot art, epic and well crafted animations with sounds, this game hella captivating.
But its not just the art that carries this game, the story is pretty cool and interesting, especially the relationships build up.
Not a fan of puzzles and since this is RPGM, theres plenty, but they were actually pretty entertaining and doable.
Overall, right now at this moment, this is, for me, the best game on this site.

story for me is really hard to play this game even tho is not a bad game idk if its the dialogs or whatever iplay for 10 min then go tiktok or YT

art i like the art but i think the animation carrys

Fking stupid mini-games in 2025. Everytime there is something to do in game, i need to complete a mini game. why?!?!?!?!?! Got tired after playing few hours, i really dislike when they use mini-games in RPG.

Great remake of the original. Art is fresh and the new animations all look great. The changes in the story also keep things new and interesting. I like how you can easily adjust the path in the gallery so you don't have to go through a whole new run for each interaction.

Great remake with smoother pacing, fewer bugs, and less grind. The art and animations are a huge upgrade more detailed and fluid (in my opinion). The game also updates frequently and every update has a ton off content.

While a little sceptical at the start, the introduction of repeated scenes (all varied according to the path you are currently on) elevates the game above most of the competition. Additionally, even if they are mostly text, there are scene indicating the level of intimacy with other women as they progress with a different LI (ex Sister and Dizzy), that is a rare thing and it works splendidly.

If you have not played the game yet, do yourself a favour and go for it right now.

One of the best games this shitty wanker here has ever played. The only "negative" point I would say is that it's a more straight-to-the-point game (but it didn't bother me), it doesn't have as much depth as Demon Deals for example, but the art/animation are excellent, if not better than DD.

I really dig the art style, the main sex scenes are really well animated and hot. The only real con I can think of is the fact that this game has a very generic and tedious gameplay loop for progression, but since that's most sandbox type games on this website I won't hold it against the game.

Edit: I lowered my rating by 1 star because some scenes (e.g. the BJ ones) are using the same posing and animation for different characters. In the original game, all scenes were unique.

While I initially thought the new artstyle is quetionable, I quickly got accustomed to it. It's highly stylized, enjoyable and fits the original vision very well. If the developers manage, it'd be the remake we've all been waiting for! Nonetheless, there's around 8-9h of content already, so I can only recommend playing it yourself. There are a couple of bugs, but nothing game-breaking.

I admit I wasn't really "here" for the original, got a little intimidated by all the different mods that aren't compatabile/ heard about the frequent bugs and crashes/ saw one of the animations and knew it wasn't worth the potential headache

But brother I am here for this remake, these animations and models are top fucking notch and I don't really mind any of the roadblocks (minigames/ questline) that gets between me and them. Between the 4 (correction, 5, didn't know about Kimberly) currently available characters (only did corruption path) can't say for sure which one I like the most because imo they're all pretty fun to corrupt and each has really great scenes...probably leaning towards the sister character tho (because that titjob/ blowjob scene on the couch...good lord)

The grind isn't too painful or drawn out (tho I guess you could argue the demon realm puzzles can grind things to a sudden halt, depending on how stupid you are) and the scenes are worth it, can't think of a reason to not recommend this seeing as it's also getting updated at a decent pace with plenty of worthwhile content already here

A nice breath of fresh air for the Urban Demons saga. I'm glad to see that there are still people willing to keep this game alive. I played it back when the original was in development and even tried one or two of its modded versions. Having played the previous ones, I can say that I will follow the development of this version.

This is a well-made remake! The game's got quick and satisfying progression mixed with simple and relatively enjoyable puzzles. No grind to speak of. The art has received a major enhancement. The MC is still a short guy but he looks way less like a kid or shota which I can get behind; it threw me off a lot with the original. The scenes are smooth and have sound; with time there is possibility for VAs which I can definitely get behind. One of the most promising adult games of the year, and with steady progression it could possibly be completed next year.

3,5/5 Stars to be honest.

Look at Neala face how cool she looked, that freckles, eyes, smile and lips, and how poor she look in remake. The most downgrade are Mom and Sydney, Mom lost her charm in look and look now like 80s-90s pornstar. Sydney is a bit closer to orginal, but the problem is, he made triangle shape of faces which looks stupid. They should be more round like in the orginal UD. I don't know what pushed him into this stupid idea. Maybe that stupid "Chad Lens" trend created by melted brain of incels, cause as I remember he wanted to make MC face to look like that. Good it get washed with criticism from his head, but still, it's preasent in characters shape of faces. The characters that are not implemented can still be fixed wiht low cost, but Mom and Sydney... well that's suck, cause to fix it creator nedd a more pressure from community. The last, simple thing is, the MC is a little bit too tall, a little.

Now for a good things.
As I mentoned at the begining I tried the orginal Urban Demons and when it gets to the meat of the game, sex animation. THEYE WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE QUALITY OF THE ORGINAL STANDING PICTURES. The animations from the remake are a lot better and match to the standing pictures that are present in remake. This is a big improvement compare to the OG Urban Demons. So THIS ONE IMPROVEMENT IS THE GOAT.

Now, for the routes, I'm glad community keep the pressure to restore the OG routes and not stick only to the corruption one. If you make remake, you should aim add more cool mechanics, not cut them down.

I have a rule for game creators, I only pay for finished products, and I can give a shot of support IF I like the idea where the game are moving. That's the only way to have influence on creators what they gonna deliver to us. If you gonna pay them without conditions, you are gonna get feeling mostly from dissapoited to scammed. You guys should be strict to creators, because this is their job, they make money from it for living. You are their clients, not "hello-kitty"cheerleaders.

Remember to criticise what is bad and aprovve what is good.

The animations and art style is incredible; one of the best I've seen (and I've seen a lot). But the dynamics of the events' development are too rapid, in my opinion.

Nevertheless, keep up the good work, Mr. Developer. Can't wait for the next update.

Animation quality is some of the best I've seen in these games and the pacing, story, and overall quality is significantly better than the original. I don't usually play RPGM games but this one has made me want to try more

This is what urban demons SHOULD have been. Amazing art and animations, updates at a quick pace with tons of content. Keep up the amazing work dev, looking forward to the finished product at a pace that isn't 3+ years away.
