RPGM - Urban Demons: Remake [v0.8.2] [Urban Demons]

I had to do a double take when I saw this. I had no idea that Urban Demons was getting a remake. While it may be months and even years for the game to be fully remade, there's promise with what is has right now.

Reviewing as of v0.2.1

Pros:

• A good amount of scenes for the main cast
• A gallery is in the game
• Stays truthful to the original game
• Around 1-2 hours to complete as of now
• Good corruption system with quest log
• Scenes are animated very well

Cons:

• None of the side girls have any scenes (will be added in future updates of course)
• Some of the mini-game aspects stay true to the original which isn't for me personally. Some of the mini-games/quests are a bit tedious.

Conclusion:

Play this one. Like now. Obviously play the original one first so you have a deeper respect for how well the remake is going. I look forward to future updates!

Faithful remake and I like the adjustments made. Looking forward to future updates specially since the character sprites are still the ones used on the original VX Ace version.

Hell yeah. Urban Demons has remained top in the 2D corruption/incest genre for me for years now. Couldnt believe my eyes seeing it back remastered. Greatly looking forward to this and what here is already damn amazing, retaining the a bit older charms of the original with just some much higher quality. Dunno what the guy 2 reviews below me is yapping about. pay it no heed.

It’s truly impressive to see Nergal revisiting and remaking this classic game. The attention to detail is outstanding, and the proof-of-concept version already shows great promise. The animation available so far is incredibly well done and fluid, really enhancing the overall experience. I’m excited to see how this remake evolves, and I’m confident it’s going to be a huge success. While the start is definitely a five-star experience, I do hope to see more animations and scenes added in future updates to make the game even more immersive. I can’t wait to follow its progress!

Art is too mid to justify the horrid writing and extremely tedious mechanics; female characters have tits bigger than their heads but remain perfectly spherical when naked, rock-pushing puzzles that were very cutting edge in 1996, a throwing mechanic that bugs out constantly, and a rhythmic breathing mini-game that actually gave me cancer. Solid lol at Nergal needing to do shota but trying to convince people he's not, though. Just play the original.

Very good game, the remake is very beautiful and well done. I really hope that complete the game with this remake.

This game has an excellent story and amazing art. This new artist has done an amazing job with the new look for the characters and animations for the scenes and photos after some sense are huge improvements. Overall, this is a great remake that I would highly recommend to anyone, and I look forward to playing it in its entirety.

The scenarios are all similar or equal to the original and the scenes are juicier with a great drawing. I can only say that I very much look forward to playing it in its entirety.

Giving 5* to this proof of concept on the hopes it will expand the game without holding back on the taboos...well, most of them.
I am a bit disappointed to see that I won't be a shota anymore but I guess it has more to do with some..."monetization sites" having too much of a stick up their butt given that other stuff is still there.

A minor disappointment but a compromise that I am more than willing to make if it makes this come to its full vision.

This game has an excellent story and amazing art. The characters are well-developed and the plot is engaging. The artwork is beautiful. Overall, this is a great game that I would highly recommend to anyone. good luck the dev is worth supporting

I've been waiting years for this, Urban Demons was probably one of the first games here I tried, finally someone remakes this amazing game, let's gooo! The animation already looks insane, keep up the good work.

I find it absolutely remarkable that Nergal decided to remake this classic big titty incest game of his. But if you aren't familiar with it, it has a variety of busty milfs and teens for the MC to bone. This new artist has done an amazing job with the new look for the characters, and the one animation available in this proof of concept version looks very well done and fluidic. I can't wait to see this remake really take off later on. So far it is off to a five star start!

Definitely a well needed remake to a masterpiece on this forum, the fact that we have an in-game interactive mechanic is a very welcomed addition to the game (although i would suggest adding some kind of skills to facilitate it, like the capability to slow down the orbs)
I tried to make this review most neutrally possible, while it is hard to not compare it to the previous project I still believe this proof of concept (and only the proof of concept) deserves a well earned rating of 4/5.
Also the art is amazing, hugs and kisses (on the cheeks) to the artist. Also i forgot to mention adding L2d animations is definitely a huge improvement and main forte .

ik this is just a proof of concept, but wow this is amazing. the full screen hd quality look so good. i cant wait for this to get more updates! i honestly hope the dev scrap the other one and keep this one going, this was such a treat! good luck. and lets not forget to mention that animation test scene, holy shit... if the game keep this up it might be a contender for my new favorite game.
