At first this didn't work. I went through two weeks without her showing up even with Q
but then I stood outside the bath and just kept smashing Q until more than a week passed and suddenly it worked...
I suspect maybe "jump to weekend" button is bugged.
Or maybe there is a race condition or some randomness involved... regardless, sufficient spamming of Q works eventually even if it didn't work at first..
it DID get stuck on the bath noise though. I had to Q until mom was in there. peep on her, then leave to finally shut it down. even restarting the game didn't work, it saved the bath noise into the savegame.

Do the scenes with the mother have new dialogue? Or are they the same as the first version?

Anyone know if Nergal has mentioned anything about when the repeated scene dialogue may come out? Have a few days off next week and was wondering if I should just wait till then before trying out the new update. Super exited to see what's new

I had an issue with the shower scene with Sydney and i was able to get it to work by advancing the time on sunday and she showed up. I dont remember if it ended up being 12 or 14 when she showed up.
I also went to sleep till weekend option to see if that would reset it. Im not sure if it helped or not but it was one of the things i did.

I did that, and it still didn't work. Obviously I tried things before posting here. The phone says weekend afternoon, so I knew the when part. I also advanced time with q while in bathroom and out. All ways. Still nothing.
The Original game is pretty big but the mod is what was massive and that was updated for longer (could still be getting updates but not as often).

1. stand outside the shower rather than inside it
2. just keep smashing Q to pass a couple of weeks until she shows up eventually.
3. after the shower scene is over. hit Q until mom shows up in the shower and enter and peep on her. then leave. otherwise the savefile will get messed up with a permanently playing shower noise

Not sure if it was reported but I ran into a bug where it infinite loops during Sydney's night event when she puts up the motion detector. I'll get caught and she'd tell me to go away and then it would loop back to when you go downstairs.
At this point I accidentally progressed her events too quickly without progressing the otherworld and getting the invisibility ability.

You need to go out the door in the kitchen and you will see a short scene with mrs amos talking to her husband in the car. Go up and talk to her and it'll advance the time by one so you can have dinner then go to bed. You'll do some stuff and once you wake up you'll get the ability to manually advance time.
dang, i hope you have a earlier save but if you dont it doesnt take that long to get back to that point. I actually made 4 playthroughs. 1 for each path and then one where i only did all the otherworld stuff and havent interacted with anyone to the point i had to choose a path in case things get added later for the earlier stuff.
It probably wont matter because at some point the older saves will probably stop working but the minigames are alot better now so not that big a deal.
