In a random comment about nothing important, I remember the earlier builds where Neala was a separate playable character altogether, then that was chucked and she became just another girl in the boy's story. I sort of chalked that up to a lack of ideas (or interest/desire) in playing AS the girl taking the dick, especially since some were young like the MC. I never actually knew if that was the reason, but all the same I often wonder what it would have been like if the game kept the two protagonist style.

No, Nergal still wanted to do that, there is still coding in the game for when Neala is playable, pretty much all the interactions in the high school are for a playable Neala
I still have not even worked out how to meet neala. i saw mention of her a few times, and i played the original wootch, but never knew you could meet her in nergals version. how do you do that?

The reason nergal dropped neala as a playable character was mostly it wouldn't have been that interesting. He made a poll and everyone decided that. As for what her gameplay style would have been...she probably would have had wootch's basic idea of her being a pimp in a sense. I remember neala joining a club in urban xlife which was failing so her solution was gloryholes...yeah...I also don't remember neala actually doing the glory hole stuff either just forcing the ex president to do handjobs and blowjobs. She also did blowjobs at the bar for a price. She could double handjob two male students in the cafeteria. The only other thing was there was this plot with a character named Vincent? where he would pay neala to be a "model" and then later anal rapes her. Tbh I don't think nergal could really do anything else with her and keep her...her ya know? Idk maybe it's just me who thinks that but that's why I voted no to neala as a playable character.

I guess this Vincent character is the reason why there is a Victor face file in the game, must have been another leftover from playable Neala, and here I thought he was just another friend for Peter that Nergal dropped to have just Fred instead

Having Neala as a PC also kinda either forces the dev to develop what would effectively be two different games, or force folks to play both storylines to progress. Players don't like being made to play porn they don't like, so I would guess that plenty of folks who wanted the Peter part of the game didn't want to be forced to deal with the Neala part of the game. From there it's a pretty straightforward decision to focus on the Peter game.
I can imagine there's plenty of market for both the Peter game and the Neala game, honestly, if they were built as totally separate things. I can also totally see that people who wanted to play the original would kinda want to keep playing the Peter game, since that was always more the focus of the original, I felt.

This is why my latest update (the one being worked on now) has warnings for the loli content now, along with telling you that the loli story-lines are completely optional (I mean to start the Amanda scenes you need to get Kim's 10 Heart scene which is essentially ending her true story-line to begin with, but you still gotta be careful XD).
I also have a warning for the hellhounds scenes that let you skip viewing them all together

Never underestimate the brains of some people, Chilly.
I've had some fair share of game threads with lolis and such in it, and a lot of them has those group of people that even with warnings will fucking banter about the having those kind of stuff in it.
For example, I went in a thread about a game with optional bestiality in it to a point that the dev even placed an option to turn it off at the start of the game but still, a lot of people still complain about it.

People need to learn to read, if they don't read then they won't get past the plant monster puzzle in the next update
so that one won't have a pentagram "modders help" (or whatever they said) like the other puzzles?
edit: also, I dunno if you know or if it is anything you can fix or if nergal knows but if you use "moveinfast" (which I always do because he's sooooooo sloooooow) on scenes where your character runs it gets disabled and you have to go to a computer and retype that cheat twice to get it working again, just thought I'd say that just in case
