The game seems nowhere to be found on F-list. Expected, since the devs say in their patreon( ) under "about", that the English translation is planned but not yet in the making, since they are focusing on the game itself.

It might be a dumb question, but is translating an RPGM game difficult in terms of coding/programming/whatever? I speak both English and Russian and I think I can dedicate a bit of time in translating the game. There can't be Lilith's Throne level amount of text in V1Vampire life.

Well, usually they just translate games after they are completed, otherwise you will be running in a neverending race against each update released.

I would recommend trying to talk with the dev directly if you want to work with him to translate things faster, but if not and you just want to try a fantranslation yourself there are RPGM translation guides here.

Don't mean to argue with you. But don't people translate games that are still in development? LonaRPG is one that comes to mind, in regards to translation.

Thank you for the helpful link! <3 Gonna come in handy if I decide to commit and go through with it. (I haven't even played the game, mind you. Only saw the YT review and loved it.)
I'm gonna assume that if I contact the dev myself and offer my volunteer service, I'll get the text straight-up for me to translate instead of extracting it?
I heard the dev of Karryn's Prison did the same thing. Sending a large text to a dude to translate.

Well they probably have someone dedicated doing the translation and working with the dev. Otherwise with each update they would struggle a lot to update the translation.

Possibly, this also would enable the use of better translations tools, otherwise you will have to unpack the game yourself with each update and re-translate everything every time.
