You need to close vam first then repair vars, don't use vam and repair vars at the same time.

You're not the only one, it's my antivirus that blocks it, when I download it on mega, it goes through, but my antivirus tells me it's an IDP.Generic and puts it in quarantine.
Boss963, is your program really safe? I want to be sure it's a false positive.

Ya, I included the ability to overwrite vars (remove old -> write new one) which is similar to how ransomware malware works so defender flags it for that reason, anyway it's completely open source you can download the source code and compile it in visual studio.

Just be aware if you share the one you compiled with someone else, defender might flag it on his PC and not yours, that's well known issue.
