I found out there is a tool that can in theory convert VAM files to G2 in DAZ - the result may not be perfect, and being based on G2 will have some limitations, but I don't mind that.
But the files I found on F95 (there is RE4 Regenerator I am curious to see), are all in .var format, which as far as I can understand would be something like a more advanced archive with full scene information (the vmi and vmb would be single characters, if I understood correctly).
Is there a way to somehow covert/extract from a var to a vmi or vmb, even if it requires to install virt-a-mate (I don't even know if it is paid software or a free one) ?
