I've noticed that a lot of games I played come with an option called "Video HWA" which also comes with choices to Enable or Disable. Just wanted to ask what it does since browsing through the web didn't exactly give me answers. Also I play mostly on an android phone so it may be exclusive only to ports.

Apparently it stand for HardWare Acceleration. The video will be played with the help of some chips embedded on the device, what will make it faster and therefore more smooth. And it's effectively an Android things, so searching for "android HWA" give you way more result than searching for "video HWA" (what effectively give you nothing interesting).
