I have to agree.. After all that buildup, seeing her blackout-drunk and screaming like a banshee in heat was quite disappointing and not at all what I expected her first sex scene to be like. It completely discarded any pacing the game had up until that point and made me lose interest immediately so I just stopped playing.

It's so confusing too when you consider the devs own words, "I want to make the transition from "innocent girl" to "dirty slut" as smooth as possible". Yet they decide to turn her into a complete whore who smiles at the thought of losing her virginity for money, pretty much overnight.. I'll never understand why they decided to progress this path first, instead of one where her corruption happens more gradually as it has been for most of the game so far.

The scene itself wasn't great either, like you already mentioned. In my opinion, getting her so shit-faced drunk that she can't even think for herself anymore is probably the cheapest and laziest way to get her to the point where she would believably be willing to have sex. It requires virtually nothing in the way of writing since her brain's basically turned off at that point. There's nothing exciting about that, not to me at least..
It would've been so much better to see her natural and real reaction to her first time, instead of whatever this booze-fueled craze was supposed to be.

Guess all we can do is wait for the other path(s) to be developed more and hope that those turn out to be better.

Nothing to do with impatient subscribers, it's just poorly written. Nobody asked for an insta whore conversion but that is what seems to be happening. A well written corruption story line progresses steadily with new things happening not just BAM she's a ho. It's not to much to ask to want SOMETHING to happen so it's not all slow burn setup, he had a good start with the guy from the diner who could have slowly started corrupting her but the writer really just abandoned that story thread.

The first part was the best part of the game; it had nothing to do with speed to get to sex. The author's development was stupid, first with the alcohol and then with the bar/stripper club. It had many more interesting potential ramifications.

Bad as in 'horrifying' would've been fine.. Bad as in 'poor quality' is not fine, which was sadly the case for this scene. I think you may have misunderstood what my issue is, but I won't bore you by rehashing and explaining it since K T T already put it perfectly in their reply to you.

In any case I don't think this was all that horrifying to begin with. If you think it should've been as bad as possible, I can't imagine you were satisfied with the way it played out. Don't you think this was incredibly tame and lacking impact for what you feel like should've been a horror scenario?

It would be unfortunate if that's the case, the game was on a really good track up until this point. That said, even if the dev felt like they absolutely needed to get a sex scene in there, it could've been handled better than this. This just felt very forced and low effort.

The reason you don't understand is because you didn't read what our complaints are about. Nobody here is "crying" that she turned into a slut, that would be a bit strange considering the name of the game. The main complaints are that her very first sex scene felt low effort, poorly written and thrown in just for the sake of having a sex scene.

For me personally, that scene was just one big turnoff so I stopped playing and indeed decided to wait for the other path(s). I'm a huge fan of going the Slut route however you are missing the point that it seems very poorly written especially after the long slow story build up. The rate at which this change happened and its believability level is the same as if the old woman was actually Voldemort's sister and with her wand she cast an Expecto-SLUT charm on the MC to instantly turn her into a slut.

Eromantis I understand that getting negative feedback isn't fun, but it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence to see you react with a 'heart' to the person oversimplifying and misrepresenting other peoples' honest critique. Just know that what we're saying isn't just us randomly hating your game, in fact it's the opposite. We like and enjoy your game, which is exactly why some of us are taking the time to discuss certain aspects of it in great length and detail and it's also why our disappointment can run little high when we're faced with something that we feel isn't up to par with your usual quality.
I can only speak for myself of course, but I'm pretty sure everyone involved in the discussion above would agree with me on that.

Now I'm not saying you should rethink your entire "battle plan" on account of the complaints of a few people here, it's your game and you should make it the way you want to make it. But it's never a bad thing to be able to look at feedback (whether it's positive or negative) in an objective manner and not take it too personal, though I do realize that's not always easy, especially when what's being said can be rather harsh at times.
I admit I'm no stranger to that myself, as I tend to be brutally honest and rarely sugarcoat things when giving feedback and voicing my opinion.

That being said, something to keep in mind is that people tend to be more prone to speaking up about negatives than they are about positives, especially when it comes to games. For every dislike you hear about, there might be as many as 10 likes you don't hear about.
My point is that while our complaints about that scene may have sounded harsh, most (if not all) of us were very much enjoying your story up until that point and it got us invested, which is why it caused such a strong reaction. I understand that it's not the most desirable reaction, but it would've been much worse if we simply thought "Well the game sucks anyway, so who gives a fuck".

Went on a bit longer than I intended.. I won't blame you if you don't feel like reading all of that.

As far as my idea of a “fucktoy route” goes, this is the route I'm working on right now, it's the fastest and most “forced” in the game. It's a route where Lily transforms not because she wants to, but due to external forces.

I don't think the first sex scene in the context of this route sticks out. Lily is kicked out of Susan's house and loses her only friend Naomi, she's had too much alcohol and her helplessness is taken advantage of. That fits perfectly into my vision of this route. The club workers slip *things* into Lily's food to erase her personality and break her.

First sex isn't always something you prepare for and happens according to plan. A lot of girls' first sex happens drunk, which they regret later. That's where Lily found herself.

While I don't think I'll be changing any of the scenes already released, I'd like to hear how you'd like to see the plot develop in the alternate, "nympho" route where Lily refused to go to the hotel. This doesn't just apply to user Balbaar, I encourage anyone who doesn't like the way I realized Lily's first sex. Instead of just saying that “quality has gone downhill” (which is obviously not true), you can offer your option and your ideas. That's the advantage of games that are in development and influenced by the community.

I vividly remember a time when users of this forum complained that the plot wasn't moving anywhere and I was standing still. I reached a plot fork and decided to develop the fucktoy route first. Now people are complaining that the game has been ruined and it was better before. It's as if everyone is missing that this is not the only story development scenario that will be in the game.

I react with “heart” to those who share my vision because I realize that there is no point in arguing with those who strongly disagree with me and think that I am doing everything wrong. I feel we need more of that. Using Naomi as a tool for Lilly to do things she normally wouldn't do as it seems Lilly actually has fun when doing those things with Naomi. Then I feel through all the things she does with Naomi could open her up to be corrupted more easily by other people. Like the bartender for example from what I recall she doesn't like it how he touches her ass still but if you go with the slut choice she just accepts it. But perhaps through some fun experiences she has with Naomi would open her up to liking or not finding certain things a big deal anymore . Maybe even willing to try and experience new things with others because how Namoi opened her eyes to it , and she enjoyed it and had fun while doing that sort of thing with her.
