VN - Ren'Py - Village Slut Transformation [Ep.12] [Eromantis]

Once again we see a dev that wants to impress with a demo, but then makes the classic mistake of starting his story at the beginning, long before anything interesting is going to happen. Chapter one is well-done technically, with realistic models and backgrounds, but story-wise nothing happens and we get mostly exposition.

The dev should really consider starting the story in the middle and work in the intro stuff as recollection and flashback. This will not only give the player something interesting to experience up front, but will also allow the use of foreshadowing and other storytelling techniques to keep the player engaged.

After playing the Demo, here is my review:

The MC is placed in a difficult situation. Considering her previously (on the train) explained social and psychological background, losing all her belongings after being left at remote place seems like a nightmare situation.

Creeping ambience music elevates the eerie atmosphere. Eromantis surely did a great job with the audio.

About the gameplay.
Not much to tell yet, but for now I could feel the player has control and not just being placed in a linear story (so called kinetic novel).

In the future I hope Eromantis keeps up the lingering choice for the MC to "reject the corruption / Leave"

About the corruption path:
Eromantis stated to plan a smooth transition for Lily. I would truly appreciate if the creator keeps this promise.
Even if the events happen slower I beleive her personality should only steadily progress bit by bit. Give the player / the MC only rational choices.

BUT as for an Erotic Game to be entertaining there should be constant teasing to make it worthwhile.
SHOW THE MC.
She does not need to be naked to be entertaining just vary the angles. NEVER do to much text.
The main audience are generally men. Visual types. Keep up the attention without sex scene bombardment.

Overall, great Demo. Perfectly fitting the foundation for a great corruption based game. Hope you consider my suggestions (with which you already did great) Keep it up and thank you for the good work!

My review pertains to Episode 1 as more content is not yet available. The developer has requested feedback on their project, so I'm engaging in this early stage to potentially make an impact.

What I found highly commendable: The ambiance, enhanced by the fitting music, was particularly appealing. The quality of the models and renderings are of excellent quality ; there are no discernible flaws in this regard. Certain statements and events generate a sense of mystique, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating what unfolds.
Lily finding shelter with an elderly lady also delighted me; it just hits the mark for me and i hope for future content in this regard.

Now, my thoughts on this: I'm uncertain if I'm speaking solely for myself or for multiple others on this platform when I say that authenticity is of paramount importance in such stories. There are already numerous games attempting to follow a similar path but failing miserably, primarily because the events and characters eventually lose any rational foundation. Take, for instance, "Angel in LA" or "Immoral Stories: Rebecca," both of which start well but are right in the middle of action after just 10 minutes. Particularly in "IS: Reb.," this bothered me as the story held a lot of wasted potential. Wasted because MC becomes entirely corrupted shortly, and, what's worse, she readily participates without much hesitation, just acceptance.

This brings me back to my initial point: authenticity. Lily's character aligns well with this concept, as she could or should question and hesitate in the face of the impending challenges when things become serious, rather than passively accepting them due to "a lack of choice" or "sudden arousal".

Conversely, the story should take its time to unfold, creating moments with a genuine impact.

tl;dr
A promising beginning. The story and atmosphere hold great potential. I hope the developer dedicates sufficient time and secures the necessary support to avoid prematurely concluding the narrative. This would be the ideal setting for a slow-burning game featuring a reserved character who questions decisions and events.

Its a short update with no fap material, the vn is narrative heavy the scenes where at least paired decently with sound, the models are nicely detailed. Was expecting more for the initial file size. best to wait till its half way released.

Liked the girl and the story so far - hope they keep all the horror stuff and really do what they promised to do, for now - very short, but have a lot of potential. I'll give it a 5 star in advance and hope it doesn't get abandoned.

I have high hopes for this game.
