The story was barely explored. We're given a single objective: Revenge. Other than that, the world is barely touched upon, maps are lifeless and bland, and despite the characters acting like they've bonded over the course of their journey ("That's so you!" and chummy stuff like that) they hardly talk to eachother and we're given zero character development.
As for the gameplay, it's your bogstandard rpgmaker. No effort was made to make it fun either, with any potential obstacles easily being bypassed as soon as you unlock the paralysis spell, or with plot-items that make bosses a cakewalk.
The scenes are brief and not really worth the trouble of playing the game. If you truly must see them, just do as others have said and interact with the well near the church you start at a few times, that'll bring you to the CG room.
All in all, don't waste your time, you'll have more fun hoovering your living room.
