There are 7 Supreme girls with the same name as the HD girls, from before the HD girls got a number. These girls should have the same link name as the Supreme girls for the Supreme Poker game, when Torquemada was putting all the opponents on one server. The links of those 'old' Supreme girls were changed and got added '-supreme' behind the name.
The HD-Ines was already one of the girls with a number and got '4037-' in font of her name.
So you can only use the supreme girls of my post #93 for this Supreme Poker Game (except of pack 12, 13 and 14 and some of the Extra opponents) and none of the opponents from the HD poker or the Classic Poker.
To use the pack 12 and pack 13 opponents too, you have to use the code
69KVLS-MKRR5A-P7GDRC-K2HG3D-V5NQJB-ERU5FL-062916-6
for one of the opponents of pack 12 or 13. You have to activate one of these opponents and NOT activated the game by the start menu.
After you have activated one of these opponents, all the opponents from pack 1 to 13 and some of the extra girls are activated.
When you can not play some of the extra girls, then it will not help to try to activate that opponent also.
An activation of one of the opponents of pack 12 or 13 is enough to play with all the girls that were activated with this code.

right now, opening the app and pressing start results in that error, but if i go to the data folder and try the "open with" button, i can play with most girls.
ok, as long as you can play the game, it will be fine.
At the moment it starts to bother you can always try to unrar the VMware windows again.
But it could also be that your graphics card or monitor does not work well with these old settings....
You should never hit the Activate button from the start menu, and definitely never enter a password in the online section (if you do you will have to reinstall the whole VirtualMachine again) the only time you might have to enter a password is for unlocking girl's in pack's 12 and 13 and it will have a pop up menu, when you try to play those one's. (VERY IMPORTANT: make sure you enter the password in the OFFLINE tab)
i know! my game is working fine right now so i dont think i will have any problems for a while (hopefully)
When the opponent starts the game, you have to type the cheatcode (3 letters).
You have to use the right cheatcode for the day of the month and for the opponent you are playing with.
When you see 'CHEATS ON', then it did work.
The settings are not inside the Virtual machine, If you have a dedicated graphic's card, open the Nvidia Control Panel (Or AMD control panel) and check that your GPU is selected for the VM's exe.
I see several versions, under that files in the core and packages directory but I'm not sure what to do exactly. A step by step guide (or link to a guide) to how to setup VMware would be much appreciated.

Extract that file.
Run the .exe and it will Install VMware
I don't think the VM version matters much.
Following Rhodanaj's instructions I get an error that "this virtual machine requires AVX2, AVX not found" (something like that). Is this a VMplayer problem that can be solved by installing another version or is this a problem with the XP virtual machine that can't be solved on my end?
My CPU is ryzen 5 3500x. OS is windows 10 enterprise.

AVX is something for your processor. You can first try indeed with an other version of VMware.
When this does not work, then you can try to activate it in your BIOS or try to install it: Google for AVX2.
