There's so many earning more support, making VNs that get updated once a year, or doing animated videos... These devs doing 3D/VR sandboxes deserve support because it's huge challenge they're doing, this is the cutting edge of adult gaming and they get a lot of shit for it. Nobody whines so much at clicker games that earn a lot, or at recycled renpy games with low-effort AI images. Those get hyped the fuck up. You don't see anyone with a VR Hot banner in their sig around.

You want continuous cutting-edge hard-work, high-quality updates, next level shit for free. That is a very unreasonable expectation in my opinion. At this rate, in a few years there's gonna be just recycled VNs and clicker games... Streamers get $10 donos daily for someone to say hi. Meanwhile you for $10 want years worth of next level adult gaming development.... This is something niche and you should support it if you want it to continue and get better. At the very least you can stop whining, especially since you're pirating it here anyway.

That makes sense, I don't disagree. I'm just upset because I've seen many devs try to do cool 3d games get stuck in the mud because of very little support. And then people here criticize them and trash them. Citor3 for example tried very hard for a long time. There was another that virtamate copied in the early days, Virtually Naked or something like that, that looked very promising, and it had very little support. ComeCloser too and countless others. VR Hot is one of the few projects that is still going strong and pushing for real development, against all odds. If they abandon it too, I imagine it would be a message to many that there's just no point to do 3d adult sandboxes, it's a lost cause. For that reason alone I think people should support it. Fighting the good fight in the ocean of VNs.

It's not cheap; in fact, it's more expensive than any PC or Console Game...
There, you only buy it once and get future Updates for free. Here, it's a subscription, $10 a month.
That's €120 a year, and so on. You can calculate how much you'll pay in a few years for a Game.
If you cancel your subscription, you'll no longer have access to updates.
If you only pay $10 once, I think that's fine, and you're supporting someone.

It is just $10 for one month to get the latest Quest version then you can just cancel after that and keep the game as long as you want. Yes later if a new version comes out you gotta have, you'll need to join again. But the continued subscription part is only for AI servers and optional. Not even needed to enjoy the game. IF you really want that AI feature, it's your choice but personally I tried it but don't use the AI dialog, I just prefer the regular voices. If you don't wanna pay I get that... but the "too expensive" complaint I don't agree. (a big mac meal cost as much, and that fun lasts minutes) I prefer to support the game. Oh btw the full game on steam IS a "one time" purchase as you say for other pc games. You get access to updates which the dev does a pretty good job at doing.

The game is still lacking: Procedural movement for hotties walking around is still wonky as all fuck, kissing is not even on par with the cheesiest of dlsite VR shovelwear, and still no fellatio on hotties or fluids like sweat / precum / squirt / little debbie creampies... but I try not to knock it much since they do engage with fans/customers and update regularly for free. It's like the No Man Sky of porn, but without the "OH SHEIIIT" bump just yet.

On the steam version in VR mode, I think pushing the left joystick on my Q3 makes you cum. Doesn't work in the standalone Quest3 version from my experience though. One of my complaints is the cum textures on the girls body disappear very fast, even on highest detail. Do hope the textures can get improved, and last much longer in a future VRH version. Go check out games like "Home Together" or "True Facials" for some great C-shot examples ever.

Would like to see how far it came along in a year but not willing to spend another $10 after feeling like I already did it once and didnt get much for it.

Also get you point but at the end of the day much of the marketing and good reviews to these games also come from pirates or people who didn't payed for it, so it still helps to rise the dev's efforts, maybe not by getting money but pushing other people to spend theirs.

You know... I get it... you want to pay for play once and let that be it (as far as Quest version and Patreon are concerned), that is, if you feel like paying at all, because yeah, this is pirate forum... expecting people here to pay is like asking someone at a strip club to skip the lap dance and instead ask for a long thoughtful conversation with a stripper.

That said, current Quest version is pretty decent! Still needs work, but the models, whew... they're big step up from last year. The AI missing from the Steam game is also good, but you need a Patreon logon for it (if I remember correctly). One could be content with this version for a long time or just wait for better updates.

...And again, the game is more of a concept then anything useful. At least this time I feel like I shared it here to make myself feel better. I get that this is early access but it's almost impossible to do anything.

You want to bang a girl? Which I assume is the whole point of this.. good luck positioning herself or her in the right spot. You select from a list of positions the girl then climbs your furniture or floats over to a bed in a really hilarious way, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But then you have to figure out how you are gonna get there as well.

Each time I felt like I was docking a shuttle with a space station, in fact I am pretty sure that is easier then this. There is also way too much talking when you have finally docked yourself with her in mid air as she moves up and down. At this point the voices just randomly start going with no context and sound corny as hell. This is even after I changed for her to talk only once every minute (it applied only when they are idle).

...But then there is no voice feedback when you have your fingers or dildos up her cooch (which I guess is better then her randomly saying stuff out of context). They have scripted positions for dancing etc, why can't they have the same for positions for both you and her doing stuff and be more context aware. I think the Quest version is more fun overall since the girl is in your space and it's soo funny to see her stumble and walk around your house. The PC version has better graphics but you need a crazy pc to see it.

Pros:
- The models look great and the level of detail is the best I've ever seen, like AAA video game good especially on none quest version... but your video card will strugle. I was getting low fps on max settings with a 5090.
- Can download hotties from their discord.
- They can dance for you or give you a lap dance and that works consistent and well.
- The jank is sooo funny that me and my friends had a blast having a competition on who can get a dick in first cause it's nearly impossible for anything but the behind position.

Cons:
- Bad voices especially during sex stuff why can't the girl just moan? Why is that not an option after years
- Hard to position yourself or the girl.
- Bad UI, everything is just jumbled together
- Low performance, your quest will struggle (but yes you can lower settings to make it better)
- The AI is pretty bad as well, she will refuse commands and sounds like she is reading chatgpt prompts back at me

I bought in. I find it a fun little sandbox to mess around in. I broadly agree with your pros and cons.

However, there are no other immersive sex sims developed to this level. VaM is a scripting environment, not a "sim". What else is there other than VR Hot?
