Alright peeps, I've skulked a lot around the site and contributed very little, so I thought it might be time to give back to the community a little. I can't edit for shit, so my list is gonna be pretty plain with no bells and whistles(and probably some typos).
For those of you who just bought a headset, 2 recommendations:
First, try some animations in VR, It'll help you get situated and (usually) are also pretty good.
Second, try a game with little interactivity, such as SinVR.
SinVR [Final + DLC] [SinVR]
Demo is free on steam, and though it might not be high quality, it'll be a pretty good way to set your expectations.
AFTER you've done some of that, we get to the good stuff.
Start with:
VR Paradise Gentlemen's Club [v0.083.003] [VR Paradise] - Chill experience, not porn, but some interactivity and tracking and stuff to get more used to controls
and then, one of my personal favorites:
VR Kanojo [R1] [Illusion] - Very well made, very guided experience, with a little interactivity, but REALLY high quality.
Last but not least:
Fallen Doll [v1.31] [Project Helius] - High quality project, a bit on the select you pose side a bit like sinVR, but just comparing those 2 hurts me, as they are WORLDS apart.
After that, you either go niche or it's downhill from here.
Some thing to keep in mind:
First: VR is a VERY niche market, there's little money to be made on big projects, and they are usually costly with long development cycles, as specially interactivity is a bitch to code without bugs with motion controls.
Second: Those who do pump out quality are focused on either pose simulators or niche titles.
Third: The tech is still on its infancy, so expect A LOT of buggy and/or Unfinished/VERY small projects and/or with low graphical fidelity
My non-vanilla recommendations:

Dominatrix Simulator: Threshold [v2.0.8] [Deviant Tech] - Good stuff, nice on interactivity and high quality
Futanari(just here 'cause I enjoy it and there's very little of the genre available):
VR Futanari Sexaroid MOMIJI ~Syrupy Sweet Prostate Milking~ [Mitarashi Dango] - Reasonably well made given the niche made but buggy and janky as fuck, at least on my HTC Vive. Little interactivity.
Alien/Lovecraftian(?):
Fallen Doll: Operation Lovecraft [v0.34 Cracked] [Project Helius] - High quality, from the same makers of Fallen Doll. Low interactivity but REALLY good
NON-Porn(Still NSFW):
VR Paradise Gentlemen's Club [v0.083.003] [VR Paradise] - Strip Club Sim, very good quality, pretty chill and good atmosphere.
There are other good ones out there, but for me, and I believe anyone starting on VR, these are the best experiences, as lots of the other good ones require a lot more thought and/or tinkering to play well(Virt-A-Mate [v1.19] [Meshed VR] comes to mind)
Anyways, after you went through this stuff, feel free to look around the Virtual reality Tag here on the forum and don't be afraid to find things that you find interesting! It may be Janky, but it's free!(Kinda, please do support those devs if you can. They put in a lot of work for a very niche audience, and usually deserve your money)
