It took a while but finally someone made it, and all it took was for me to be the villain of the story to push someone to be the hero. (And yes, all that thing about me having a subtitle was a lie.)
So indeed, good work. I will surely savor this labor of yours.
Apparently it only added subs to the spoken lines. I’ll have to figure out how to get it to scan the text

I'm quite new to this artist. Is there any versions of this and previous works without Japanese subs?

Sorry for being absent from this post for a long time.
I'm not doing subs so often and at the moment I'm working on subs for the latest Iland release. But using AI to translate such stuff with all the moaning and talking at the same time doesn't yield good results so I have to listen to parts of it over and over again and ask ChatGPT and co. for the meaning of something I think it sounds like. That's exhausting and demotivating so it takes a long time to make progress. So don't expect any other Wantan translation from me in the near future.

No. But you can remove those subs with Moca AE and the Content Aware Fill of Adobe After Effects with good results.
Hehe, thats the thing with Wantan; His style is quite unique. I don't know any other creator that comes close to him. Maybe Double Soft Cream?

Understandable but sad. I've looked a lot for a version with English subtitles but I never find anything. It seems like there's no effort for this artist other than this post or you, so I expected better news xD. And like you said, wantan is one of a kind. But who knows, maybe one day it will be possible

Wantan is from the generation of late 90s early 00s 3D artists with unique styles like other 3D artists of the time who used Cinema4D, Maya and Flash.
St Borough Annerose (
スタンブローAg精錬所), Jyubei (who was the first to use Retroscoping 3D -> 2D), Mi Po Z, Umemaro and a many other unsung heroes who are lost to history and you can only find on DLSite now. LESLyzerosix didn't animate, but knew the old animators, so it's good to ask if he remember any of the old animators.
Hana No Yousei was another pioneer, around the time when Wantan was releasing his first demos. Looking back now, it looked very crude, but it started a trand and everyone and their mother wanted to make a swimsuit gal by the pool animation.
Most important of all was Seismic (who was one of the early artists to do an official English translation). Him and Umemaro took off majorly. Stargate 3D is another of the old school animators that was really popular back in the day and is dormant now.
The big players are now the Blender, MMD and Koikatsu communities. You rarely see anyone use Cinema4D anymore, except the user mentioned above.
Wantan is the last of the old OG animators of that era alongside Umemaro. Stanbro Ag had eye surgery and can't very long hour and Seismic is in semi-retirement.
Tamangoworks is the current flagbearer of the old 3D and Wantan has been more active throughout the years, but he streams a lot of games on the side, so it usually takes around a year or so before you see anything release. He is also the most litigious out of everyone (Jyubei was close second), so he is his worst enemy by shutting down free publicity and sales.
