I ran into them most in the area west of the hobo camp.

To be fair, according to Sikorsky's Ci-en, he already anticipated the negative reactions since he made Reminiscence more of a means to tie everything in the Sikorsky-verse together. This is, in his own words, to prep for a new game that he's planning.

There was a whole kerfuffle about it sometime back in this here thread, but the gist of it is that it actually ran afoul of DLSite TOS, which forced Sikorsky to remove it in later versions. Said censorship was made known here and people asked what got removed and the rest was history lol

crazy that I'm missing so much stuff after I beat the game
The game is pretty meh and ended too abruptly
H-scenes are nice but too rare, a lot of them can't be obtained naturally, are locked behind losing instead of.. .you know... Kirsten having sex out of her free will because... you know... slave magic.
And too many meaningless sidequests that not lead to sexy moments
