The way I speak is because I watch a lot of discussions and I don't want to receive certain discussions, which I mean and if I can select the ones I want to appear in my notifications. Sorry if that sounds a little confusing

How about watching only the discussions you want to be alerted of, and bookmarking the rest of them?
To bookmark a discussion, click this icon on the top right corner of the first post (but I suppose any post of the thread is fine).

I found it a bit confusing, I think I'll continue the normal way anyway, thanks for the help
