After months, if not years, I gave WoC another try.
Unfortunately, there are still some bugs and inconsistencies that unnecessarily complicate the game and thus contribute significantly to a negative gaming experience.
- Clothing Choice
You wear a certain outfit, but in some situations, it automatically changes to trigger a scene; in others, you have to change manually.
(Second visit to the doctor. I wore the uniform and automatically switched to the Academy. After that, at headquarters, the uniform is worn again, and you have to put on the Academy yourself.)
- Sudden changes of location with unnecessary walking.
For example, a second visit to the doctor. Afterward, you have a conversation in front of the clinic, end up on the way to school, and have to return to the station on your own.
- Poor pathfinding.
Often, you have to re-enter a building because you click directly on a person, but the door is crossed first, forcing you to leave the building again. A bit more logic in pathfinding would be helpful.
- Poorly implemented convenience features.
For example, the running speed. You have to reselect it too often, even though you haven't saved or loaded in between.
All in all, this makes for a poor gaming experience for me, lowering my review to an average three stars.
