Hey, we'd like to make some clarifications about the current state of the project and address some of the comments that we, honestly, expected to receive.

First, we are not other devs, or stealing it, or some devs that separated or any other variation. We are still the same team that created the first idea for Lost Elite (previously Lust Elite).

That takes us to the second point, the story has not changed in its core. It’s still a FemMC thriller-erotic, with the same lore that we envisioned originally. But there have been rewrites, to integrate both stories and not be as ambitious as we wanted it to be with the original double project. This is due that we severely miscalculated our original budgets/timings, and we had to learn that the hard way.

So talking about budgets, as Count Morado said we tried to make it affordable (specially on Kickstarter), this is/was the first real professional project for most of us and we missed the marks in the budgets and revenue, and that’s why the project has been reworked or paused a couple of times. We have to eat and pay the bills, and we just didn’t want to abandon it completely or see any member of the team gone; but also not be a greedy dev team that has nothing else under their belt to show.

We’d also like to address the team comments. As already mentioned, the original creators are still on the team and directing the project. And no, we haven’t got rid of our artist (actually, we got an extra one), or substituted it for AI. But we’ll be perfectly clear since we don’t want to either lie or make anyone feel scammed. We do use AI enhancements (such as the ones currently present in Photoshop for example) and we have created our OWN Lora with OUR art to try to streamline the production process and have better time/budget management. All our art is worked on, controlled and approved by our artists and there’s 0 content that is purely AI generated. We are not replacing them, we are trying to make it easier with the tools we have currently available.
That said, we understand the view some people have on the current use of AI and we actually agree with some of it, especially regarding regulations of use. So if you don’t want to support us, we understand and we hope that some day we can do something that might better appeal to you. But the original art was completely unsustainable from a budget point of view and honestly, if you haven’t played the Beta you haven´t seen much of the new one. So maybe give us a chance and make up your own mind, if you still don’t like it we’ll take the L and try to do better.

Finally to all this rambling, about the old thread, that’s on me, my bad (the person that runs the account and currently typing way too much) I’m having some trouble getting used to how F95 works and retrieving the old thread properly, so apologies and I’ll try to figure it out.

If you got all the way down here, thank you and hopefully this has shed some light about the possible doubts regarding Lost Elite. We’ll keep the communication up and answer anything else that might come up.

Its good that you responded but this is an issue - it looks 100% AI generated, not AI assisted.

Just some feedback

It was first Lust Elite... Either way, the original project is abandoned.
Now that you mention it I do remember the original devs going by that name on social media. So while the new name isn't entirely why I'm put off by this "revival" I'm still convinced that this is someone else trying to use that name due to the use of AI and absolutely nothing that seems to connect the two. Like the lore shared, the mc and the interesting premise are all different.

The lore and the story are the the exact same. The MC has a different name and some story points have moved around a bit. Still the same people as I said before

Got to admit that while I appreciate the technical marvels you may have done behind the scenes, the end result looks like painfully generic AI output.

I hope your next evolution may lead you to find a real artist, I think you'll have an uphill battle battle getting people to pay for AI art in the game unless you make it super magical and amazing.

Best of luck!!!

Then why did the mc change?
Good question! The change to the main character is because the story now starts years before the first version — it came from a mix of creative and technical reasons, including adjustments to the overall arc and character development.

The personality and core role in the story are still the same. We’ve gone much deeper into the lore, so now things don’t just happen “because they do.” Cassie was originally a character who would only appear several years later in the timeline, but the new design gives us more flexibility for the future. Think of it as a prequel “remastered” version of the backstory.

the android app is buggy and a bit bulky
Sorry the beta came out with those issues. The Gold version will be available soon, and we expect both the bugs and the size to be much more optimized. Thanks a lot for your feedback and your patience!

Hey MissCougar, I completely understand your point of view, and I appreciate you taking the time to explain it like this.

The current look is part of an experimental phase we’re using to make adjustments in production. The idea has always been to combine technology with a human touch; in fact, our team includes two fantastic artists who are creating the concept art and learning to use these new tools. While they help us move faster, the plan is to keep taking the art toward something that feels unique, alive, and worth your time.

We know we’re not going to convince everyone — and certainly not overnight — but we hope that as the project evolves and matures, you’ll see the “magic” we’re aiming for, hand in hand with our two artists. Feedback like yours helps us move in that direction ;).
