Unfortunately, this was always a "side project", and the dev never gave it any real importance.
Naughty Underworld has some projects underway, but I believe that at some point, he will give us an update on this one.
If you are interested in this game you can always try the Urban Demons Remake that is being worked on right now. That Original and modded series is a pretty good time sink if you havent tried it yet.

I thought this was a teamup with someone else.
it was initially abandoned due to fear of patreon.
but then patreon nuked all their pages for being associated with this game.
after the switch to substar they IIRC did declare they will resurrect this game.
I am not sure if it got reabandoned or not though, but if it is in development it is a side project as they got a bunch of other projects they are working on.
