Flashbacks, or "future views" are f'n annoying to me.
Unless dev is actually trying to portray a mistake that a character made in the past, or a warning about the possible consequences of one, they are only appropriate for me, if its part of a redemption arc, with the character (MC or FMC) saying "I will not go down this road" again or in future.
Otherwise it's just one big plot-kill usually. Telling me my choices are in vain, and I am most likely being rail-roaded.

The ones that don't annoy me, and the ones I do like, are when a character (or both) comes back home and relates the story as part of a damn hot after-care spicy-as-hell fuck session...straight after, not 3 weeks later... yeah, those I don't mind

I really dislike it when the FMC—under the pretext of 'tension' or 'teasing' or whatever—doesn't tell the MC about something that happened today in the absence of both the MC and the player (meaning they didn't even show us the scene), only to reveal it to the MC days later after hours of gameplay
Fortunately, this behavior is very rarely seen in Western sharing games; it’s mostly a characteristic of Japanese-style games

Honestly, I didn't even notice. I had to go back and check, and honestly I think the general forum culture would be better if we all were more rude to each other. Not to make every thread a battle ground, but to show any newcomers that there are enough landmines here that you should watch your step. Think before posting! More slurs allowed would be helpful with this.

I just finished a Life worth Living at least 1 save gonna play the others another time. I have to say for me I actually liked the ending in the path I played. One of the few AVN's I played that I felt didn't have a bad ending and imo the final chapter was the best chapter out of the entire game

Thanks guys. Barring a heart attack (which is always a possibility at my age) we don't plan on going anywhere. We have already made a start on the next games, though mostly just some render work and script discussion, but the work is ongoing.

And yes, Lauren Tanner is the FMC for one of the game. The redhead reporter from the news casts. So all of the news people will play a big part in it.

Downloaded that one today, too (ha!). Is that one kinetic, also? I tend to get burned by kinetic NTS games. My preference is for games where the player has veto power over any specific potential partner...

Totally with you here, I said it repeatedly myself - sharing in an already fragile relationship is a terrible idea and always end up in a cuckold story. Mila ai is decent for me in its current build, but it lacks development in the path myself (and Id think most in this thread) would care about - the hotwife type path or her being with bob but not being some bdsm-slut character. Hopefully in further releases we'll see more development on the other path variants.

Yeah, to me, there are certain tropes in these games that I can't stand. Sure, I do not want to have a total slut with no morals in my harem game but.... the whole thing with every woman having to be a virgin? no, thanks. A lot of the times the reasons are absolutely convoluted as well. I do not mind an 18 y.o. or even an early 20s being a virgin, but many of these games have virgins at 30+ as if this was a common thing.... not to speak of the whole reversal when a potential LI was introduced as having had a boyfriend (or even a husband!) for years to only be discovered later that she was a virgin all along for whatever stupid reason.

Another one, as you mentioned, is the whole BBC thing. I do not mind black guys on my VNs, but they have to be a person, not a walking dildo that is just a stereotype to throw the MCs fears into.... the whole thing with "once you go black you never go back" , women falling just for a big dick, the athletic, alpha black guy vs the meek, tiny dick white guy... eurgh. Totally trite and stupid. Again, I do not mind NTS or even some well crafted NTR every now and again, but give me something believable, give me characters I can invest in.... when I see the usual black guy that is just reduced to having a big dick instead of a personality, and then I see the LI going for him.... it just makes me lose all investment on these women and story. Why would I have any feelings, any care, any love, for a woman that just becomes a gushing puddle at the sight of a big dick? I can't respect her....

The whole every woman is happy to share the MC is another one, I just can't believe it. Give me proper reasons why these women would be happy sharing, give me an MC that has to work to earn that and that actually is deserving of it, not just a soppy, silly guy with no qualities that just has all women magically falling for him (while I am on this, I really like how "Foreign world" does this, it gives me a premise I can believe and an MC that seems to be deserving of what he is getting).

Anyway, there are so many of these tropes that just push the boundaries of what I am willing to believe.... it is a pity, because they tend to turn what could be a good story (in many cases) to one that I might just watch without reading the dialogue, rushing from one scene to the next when I am in the mood for their particular type of slop (it went off the rails a long time ago, but that is what "Grandma's house" has become.... part of the first season was nice enough, even if a clear superhero MC, but then, the gigantic harem, with women that may only appear once a season but are totally in love with the MC, the silly dialogues.... ugh, now I just follow it for when I do not have anything else to play, and then, only with ctrl pressed to skip dialogues).
