Every few weeks this thread devolves into pointless debates and navel gazing over the definition of fetish words, people say the exact same things other people said 6 pages ago, and people come to the exact same conclusions people came to 6 pages ago.
Disagree. This has mostly been a nice discussion where people have talked about which aspects of the genre they enjoy, at least compared to how the discussions take place in the game-threads! That's what I wrote on the previous page here, at least. Did you read that? I thought it was funny! :geek:

Agreed. Play Secret Care Cafe. (The secret is that the coffee is actually good.) :coffee:

Agree.
This whole thread and most of its discussions are about how we have a bit of fun. Even the whinging is mostly light-hearted, No animosity here for differing viewpoints. I like to see it as free expression. Trolls are just gunna get short-shrift, I reckon.
If anyone gets offended or righteous, I guess that's on them....I haven't seen anyone being offensive here yet..._(maybe it's me??, but that is never my intention, at all....still, Johnny might ban me one day, haha)

If only I had that power  truth is I'm pretty militantly anti moderation of most sorts...it takes a LOT for me to want someone's posts to be deleted.

And secret cafe is a decent game, I dont bring it up here much cos its definitely not western themed - but for what it does it's a good game- game.

Nothing wrong with a bit of discussion, especially when it helps us come to a greater understanding. Some people genuinely did not know some of this stuff, and others just wanted to get their point across and share their opinion. Pretty nice discussion compared to how it usually is.

Not me. I've learned to rule with an iron fist. :Kappa:

Just sharing the love, lol. None of us learn until we talk, and realise there are other ways of looking at things, even when we think we know...life is more complex than one set of brain cells....

Any games where the sharing happens due to a game of truth or dare or turn the bottle or something like that?

As far as other ones - I guess the start of "Long Story Short" qualifies, but it's pretty lukewarm since it's so early.

-"My Wife's a Star" has a much longer segment with a LOT of outcomes, like 6-7 different scene permutations.

It's not out yet, but I know based on the teasers the next release of "Mastering the Pink Box" will have a heavy focus on a "pick random cards with instructions" type game.

"Esoterika" had a scene like that early on, but IIRC it didn't really go anywhere

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there's lots more.

You picked a tough one...

Johnny posted My Wife's a Star. That's the only one off the top of my head where the sharing "starts/happens" with a game of truth or dare/spin the bottle early on...

There are quite a few with scenes, or something close to it, but they don't really lead to much 'sharing' or happen much later in the story.
Like "Exciting Games", has a D&D scene that's kind of truth/dare'ish, but it's later in the story and sharing is well under way.
"My Italian Slut Wife" recent update added a truth/dare scene, but comes much later in the story and the 'sharing' has already started by that point.
"Nothing is Forever" has a truth/dare scene, but don't recall it leading to any 'sharing' afterward...

I might be wrong (been a long time) but I think Misfits has your truth or dare game, although it is not the start - just a step along the path.

Don't forget the Truth or Dare in 'My Brother's Wife'. I thought that was quite well done.
I've never seen that tbh tho the wife's model looks attractive, though if I understand synopsis it's from the pov of the interloper not the husband.

My Brother's Wife is not a sharing game, it is an "intended NTR". Why intended? Because even after 4 years of development, the wife has not yet engaged in actual sex with the brother. The wife is not actually a sexual partner for the brother to date, certainly nothing outrageous, though other characters apparently do have sex (brother included), she is just a frustrated wife teasing the possibility, not only to him but also the husband. It's very slow-burn, with ultimately no real pay-off....the setups and dialogues are ok though.
I admit I haven't played the latest version, I got bored...
Exciting? Not
Frustrating? Yep...
Did it have promise? Definitely.
YMMV
