Yah sadly I second this.

Or rather, I wouldn't even say ntr, since the characters in TEB don't behave like typical ntr characters (nor sharing). Kat isn't vindictive or secretive, and Luke isn't beta or oblivious. I'd call it more suited towards an audience whose primary interest isn't sharing nor NTR, but specifically dirty old men trying to corrupt a young woman and couple - generally a big overlap with the "corruption" crowd and fem protag crowd. More like the GGGB or ORS fandom.

This could all change of course. The Alex scenes and Nate photoshoot scenes were certainly closer to pure sharing vibes. I GUESS the flasher scenes could be considered as well.

I keep waiting for this game to take off in a good direction but it just seems to keep faltering and not really going anywhere. It started off somewhat promising. IDK

tbh if that happened would probably ruin the game and character for me. Some games I might be willing to let it slide if it's only one time or something ( depending on the character). But man if she did it would feel very much out of character to me with how well Bobby has done showing of their relationship.

I know there is some strain now cause Klem put some doubts that Luke might be cheating. But honestly I think a NTR path is probably gonna end up being shit cause just would not feel like Kathryn at all to me even if she knows about any cheating Luke does. I just have a hard time seeing her sleeping with other men as revenge doesn't seem like her at all to me.

I might give ORS another shot but honestly I had a hard time getting into it even tho I played alot of it. I got as far as chapter 9 I think. To me it felt like I was going through the motions and playing it just because I heard it was good. But I never really got that excited about anything or looked forward to seeing certain type of content. Tho I did like the Lena X Ian faithful path the best. Felt like I was bored or forcing myself to play it at certain parts. Not sure if I was feeling burnt out by trying to play so many different branches at once or just not for me.

TEB I honestly never felt bored with the game.

Haven't touched GGGB, yet.
And I can see how one could read EK that way just with ORS.
There isn't a lot of consensual sharing, and quite a few head scratchers with certain choices...
Like, Lena can kiss Holly and screw every other dude in the game, but if Ian kisses Holly, all hell breaks lose, and don't make the mistake of having sex with Holly if "dating" Lena, even if she's "cheating" or pursuing Holly...
Don't have much experience with that dev, just ORS.
And with only the one throuple option (various ways/paths to get it), a few threesomes, and a bit of talk about a MMF threesome with Lena, yeah, the "sharing" is barely there...

Oh, it gets really, really good after Ch.9.
10, 11, 12, & 13 so far, oh my...

The variables can be a bit of a minefield. I used the mod to keep track of stats, but there are a lot of "hidden" stats that aren't tracked with that mod that have serious consequences. Thankfully, the WT, which is a really good minefield map, helped a lot to get the stuff I liked and avoid the stuff I didn't.

Personally, I'm a fan because of the throuple story path.
If it didn't have that, it'd be less enjoyable for sure.
The artwork/style is secondary for me.

I don't really mind the graphics in ORS, I'll take 3d any day of the week for realism - but personally have no issue with "western-style" 2d games- stuff like ORS or the now abandoned "Blurred Lines".

Funny thing is the art you hate I love that anime art style but that is cause im a anime lover. However at the same time I do dislike this one because it feels like the tone or theme of the image is to be as sexual as possible and not in a way I find hot or appealing. It's why everytime I see this type of artstyle in a NTS or NTR game I just can't get myself to download it and try it but if it was a non NTR / NTS game I could 100% play it

Its the writing, and the choices consistently leading down a certain path, that make a game good.
Do I prefer 3d Daz? Abso-fucken-lutely!!
Does that mean good writing and well-defined paths will get me playing 2d? Sure, why the hell not?
The most gorgeous graphics don't just appear in good VN/games, nor do they make one.

But, a proper sharing path in 3dDaz? Hold my beer, while I get to payment page.....

I think the sharing theme just never crossed her mind at all. GGGB had the open relationship route but it just had end up with FMC cucking the shit out of her bf while he watches, no indication of him liking it since it wasn't his idea at all. Similar thing happened in ORS as Lena had to cheat first or both of them cheating to get that relationship open up, even the talk about Lena bringing another man for them to have a mfm threesome pretty much required her being a slut and Ian having cuck_points.

EK games had always heavily leaned towards the cheating fetish because every chapter has tons of choices and variables and most of them had to do with cheating. Just play a vanilla playthrough between Ian and Lena you will see a really typical sweet young lovers where the drama happening around them had nothing to do with them, while you are doing that route you will see how many choices you are given in a single chapter for them to start cheating and turn the ian_cheating/lena_cheating variable to 1 . Every time a girl flirts with Ian or another guy flirts with Lena you will be given a choice to cheat on their relationship, easily.

And also thanks to our wholesome community here, the vulgar reverie thread got locked.

That'd be just my point though - she's clearly a cheating enthusiast, and that's pretty much at odds with sharing. The concept that "cuck_points" or sluttiness required for a threesome goes against everything I like, personally. It views these relationships as there being a winner and a loser. Also like the other guy mentioned - the games always seem heavily skewed towards fem-corruption male humiliation. Yes, but the faithful will repeat "You still pick those options". Sure, but the subtext not being said is one party will have ample chances to cheat, the other not so much.

Anywho to those who like it, by all means, just not my cuppa tea.

Heh Vulgar Reverie, I haven't visited that thread in awhile. From what I can see it's just a few loud people yelling. I've seen a couple thread posts from that specific mod recently, he seems to pop up frequently alongside some hamfisted deletions.
