It has to be both for me, good graphics and good writing. I'm a very visual person. It could be a great story but if the graphics are crap, can't do it.

Visuals are important but for me writing and flavors are even more important man. Summers Gone has great visuals but I don't feel anything playing that game, same with other games (especially harems) that have good visuals but are very boring for me.

For me the writing isn't as important at least overall. I really only need decent righting when it comes to characters as if you get me to like a character alot the game can be shit and i'll still play the game. If the game is good but the characters are shit to me i'll struggle to play it. Just like with City of Broken Dreamers couldn't get into the characters in that one but liked the story up until I stopped playing.
But id say then I value visuals over it but they don't need to be stellar just not shit. It's why im okay with some 2d games , even tho it isn't my preference at all.

I'm with sagerock, I need both. As you said, Oceans game's are the shining example of beautiful renders and meh writing.
Nothing is Forever is a 3d game I'd put at the opposite end, fairly solid writing but mid visuals - and if pressed to choose I'd easily take that over ocean's style.

Writers. Sharing. Pros & Cons.
I haven't been on this site long enough to build a repertoire/back-catalogue like some of you guys obviously have.
The fact that someone can just put a writer's initials up, and it gets recognised by a niche group? That's cool.
So, do you guys have thoughts on which writers/devs are generally pro-sharing in their efforts?
I think it might be a handy list to go through.
Most of my current collection comes from Latest Updates and Recommendations (like here)
I mean I downloaded quite a few that I am yet to play, but it might help to sort the dross if I can "cut through" a bit by knowing which devs to look for?
Any advice?

Just played the game with Gunther and Mira to the earliest (Bliss) ending. Cool one, it's an early exit but still a cool run, worth almost 2h of gameplay, quick fix. Some of the other endings seem not too far off the sharing spectrum, some definitely might be, will have to check. Haven't seen it referred here by name and read about it been banned from F95, long ago, don't remember why, and I know for that reason it can't be linked here. But does the ban extend to naming or discussing it? Or mentioning by name? Honest question.
Haven't played a female protagonist game in a while (exception Girl Life... the game that will never be finished) Might be worth checking for a variety's sake? Are there more like it (enough dialogue etc...)?

MilaAI - if you're looking for the sharing content, while there is "some", but at this point the updates are about the NTR route, with the dev promising a "catch-up" on the sharing route after that. Perhaps wait a bit to get a decent amount of content, unless you are happy to try the 3 routes and see what's what.

There are some really good stories on here, so that means pretty good writers, too.
However, difficult to say there's any one dev or small group of them that specialize/focus on good sharing content/stories.
It's on a VN by VN basis for good sharing or content you like.
And, that's honestly why this thread is so darn valuable.
The dev for The Three Panels is the first one that comes to mind that's "focusing" on sharing/swinging content. Of course, Three Panels is his first VN, and the next planned projects all seem to be sharing/swinging.
Other than that, it's on a case by case basis.

Looking forward to see what this turns into after a couple updates. It has potential, I really like the style and the renders but the story is all over the place at the moment.

Played this. Definitely a sharing game, imo. (not sure its a hotwife/partner sharing thing though, just generally a guy not afraid to "get involved").
Nice graphics, no humiliation, good setup so far with potentially some good scenarios being set up.
0.1 atm, so it's a "wait & see" for now, but I liked it.

Tried My Bimbo Dream after reading its review here, and a recommendation found elsewhere, but hadn't read the most recent reviews. My experience sort of matches what's being said, that the game has become pretty rigid in one of the latest updates, with the MC a beta cuck in the NTR route, instead of being able to alternate as he apparently could do before. I tried the two routes that most obviously would lead to sharing (slut and pimped out, supposedly NTR and NTS respectively) and in both of them the MC is frustratingly hesitant. It seems like in the supposed NTS route he's even worse, as in the NTR route he liked to imagine the "landlady" with other guys, while in the NTS route he's resentful of her outgoingness, but does nothing to oppose it. Don't know if the game has more to give, played already 1h into both routes, up to the part where he invites his friend and the "landlady" is set in seducing him, while sending the MC away to fetch things. Pretty low vibes to me. Don't know if it's the "harem" route that will have any sharing? Not very hopeful, as this option reads something like "I want to keep her all to myself".

tbh I only play that one for non NTS or NTR path. I haven't even tried them yet I might eventually but not all that interested if im being honest. At least for me NTS and NTR doesn't really work that well with incest for me.
yeah Kinetic sucks but im willing to give it a try still sometimes I can like a mostly Kinetic game depends on the game. Or I see games tagged as such and still have choices as they might only be semi / mostly Kinetic like when it comes to story or something. Or it's only meant to be Kinetic early on like the first chapter or 2 . It's why I don't trust the tag system at all like hell even games sometimes get tagged as sandbox when they arent.

Is there any sharing/swining in the harem path, or does it take the idea of keeping all for himself to the letter?

To me it feels more like a forced harem with the potential of maybe having sharing later at least up to where I played , I haven't played the last update. but I do think there could be sharing with at least 1 of the girls. Scarlett does start a onlyfans or something like it and the MC is in full support and being her manager and having her do stuff in public even when he isn't around. So I think there can be sharing on her path even if you aren't on the sharing path. To me it feels like the NTR / NTS options is more meant for the mother and not so much the other girls. You even see Lucia be sexual with her cuck of a husband as well. So I don't think sharing is completely off the table yet with the other girls.
Family Trouble added a new Sharing scene in the latest update.
