There's another title out there called HH, that's not Harmony Haven - Heated Hashtag. It's a prologue and kinetic at that, but the art is cool (although may feel too anime to some). Story also floats a little between western and hentai tones - Ava starts off with a yandere feel, but as she loses inhibitions, it seems like she might have a wild side and even hints at the possibility of enjoying seeing Liam, the MC, getting loose with other girls? At the same time the dynamic leans a bit towards the passive MC - except when he's pushed into it, Liam actually dominates Ava and they both enjoy it. So I guess the game can go both ways, and the author suggests branching paths at the end of the episode. Or maybe the only choice, so far, is merely intended to avoid NTR? Anyway, there's potential and the game surely deserves better reviews that AI art haters gave it to begin with. Three one star reviews to begin with?

Speaking of sharing games, did you play the new update for harmony haven? if so did you like it?

Just played it and it felt like it can go anywhere, from teasing/sharing, cheating, to a story about MC and FMC never breaking the ice. It's cool to have a build-up, but at some point relationships stall if they don't move further. I'll also to wait and see if it isn't one of those games where making too many horny choices leads to less desirable outcomes. Just wish that maxing out MC and FMC's love for each other would always allow for a route that's as wild as possible, and leaves antagonists frustrated - even if they "score" at times, they're just being played by the couple, who grow tighter every time. Somehow authors don't bet too often on that scenario, NTR lovers loathe it and berate it (see the drama currently playing out on VR's thread). I see some western games are following a "purist's" netorase script, where the kink lies on the psychodrama of jealousy and angst, just like netorare, more than in unorthodox sex. People are pulling their hair off, if the author allows for the FMC to show some "reassurance" to the MC.

Yep, devs who think that sharing means just letting some other guy fuck your wife, without any consideration to how it affects the wife, nor her feelings, or how she relates, after the event, to her husband. It's more of a "I can fuck any girl I want after a few conversations" type of game. You have the option to see other women get fucked and even partake if you want, but that's it so far. The MC doesn't have a girlfriend and all the girls are stuck in their 20's even though one has a son in his 20's and the other is married to a man in his 40's. It's also just not that good a game and you can easily win the fight sequences by grinding the stats early on

Saw some of your posts in the Girlfriend thread. Is the jury out on what kind of "flavour" the game has, sharing wise? Seems to have a path where she falls in love with some Brian guy - that's an absolute no for me. It's visceral. I understand the authors wanted to show a "fall into sin" story, that would only work for me if there's no humiliation, and a path to redemption, otherwise I'd stick with swinging and sharing. Seems like there's a proper NTR path and I can't tell, from the messages, if the NTS has an active MC or one that just takes a somewhat reluctant ride on his girlfriend's adventures. I'd like to know if there's a stag path in this story, where they both play games with others, she enjoys other guys physically but the couple remains emotionally faithful.

I'd like any game where that was so, especially so if that was the main story arc, and not just a puzzle-ridden, almost-unachievable hidden path. Which sadly, is most often the case. Even better if the guy was allowed the same enjoyments as the girl, in equal measure.

For me the NTS path started strong and now feels like it has taken a backseat to NTR. Like I don't even know who is even an option to share going forward. The one guy I was looking forward to his brother beats him to it on the NTR path which kind of sours his path for me. To me it feels like a game I need to wait several updates to get any good sharing scenes or progress at it's current stage. It does seem to have setup a new LI to share and I think a new guy potentially.

Nothing against it but it should be stated that the game will always put the MC in a "junior" position within the FMC's "other interests", and that she's a mess of unresolved relationships which probably excludes any possibility of a wholesome poly or open relationship. In those terms, I think it's logical that NTR gets the most attention, as it takes self-awareness and discipline to swing without letting oneself get carried away to a place where the significant other isn't so significant anymore. It's just that this is so dominant in the gaming culture right now - some 90% of games that involve sharing, do it from the "cuckold fetish" stand point where the MC is just glad to be a spectator of his LI's sex life. This is just perceptual for me, I'm not up to making inferences about how the population feels, statistically, but it suggests as a reasonable explanation that game authors are increasingly out for exploiting niche fetishes, and the cuckold fetish is just easier to define, than enjoying the teasing between members of a couple that don't imply a hierarchy in power dynamics.

I get that people enjoy the focus on the girl's sex life and her pivotal role, by contrast with a majority of games where the MC has all the agency and rounds up all the girls, who all happen to be okay with it. What I don't understand so readily is enjoying dynamics where a male rival or antagonist gets the better of the MC. Is it wrong to dub it masochistic? I just don't understand, my revulsion to it is so complete. Again, not judging anyone for enjoying different tropes, just have a hard time coming around to the fact that a majority of sharing games cater to masochistic tastes, as if there were nothing but polar opposites in human behaviour: EITHER toxic dominance demanding exclusivity OR permissive submission without the ability to assert anything.
