IMO ILYW's shapes are within natural range. The wife has a big breast for sure, but there're women with this size IRL. And the shape looks natural too. The other girl doesn't even have big tits. I mean I agree that girls in Life in Windvale are a bit too thick in the special departments, tho I'm still fine with it, I like exaggerated shapes in drawing (AI or not). But when I played ILYW I felt that it tried to stay reasonable on that matter
I used to think I didn't like Big Boobs as well expect the rare occasion but im not so sure anymore. While they usually aren't my preference, every once in awhile I will see some big ones I like. I think it comes down to how the girl looks overall with the big boobs and not just their breast size if I like it , basically if I feel like it works for their overall body appearance / looks or not. However id probably would still will pick the girl with smaller ones most of the time.

Zetsupetsu's original NTS/sharing/cuckold thread- while not explicitly stating so; definitely attracts an audience of players who prefer these games. Same with Hentai_kishi, both of which are linked in the lede.
So I don't see it so much as me being overly narrow; rather the existing nts/sharing resources heavily cater to these flavors (and that's totally fine!
Part of it is my fault - by separating the AI games list and applying a laxer standard, it's kinda opened the floodgates for more stuff like that. To this end, I've considering modifying that part, though that would also get rid of games I feel are more a hybrid style like Moonripple lake or MNGF. Both definitely have a slighty anime-ish inspiration, but to my eyes they're worlds apart from the look of say "I love your wife" or "Lust Haven Island". Moreover, both have a dialogue style and flow more common with contemporary western games, such is not the case with say "I love your wife", where the japanese vibes are thick throughout (the way they talk, the character names, the little bouncing animations, the style of banter, etc)
I’ve played quite a few Japanese games and I honestly don’t see any Japanese spirit in the characters of ILYW at all. In Blurring The Lines, for example — yes, you can feel it. Maybe I just haven’t gotten far enough in ILYW; I stopped at the first night on the beach. But so far the characters’ behavior seems very “Western” to me. For example, the wife even reminds me a little of my girlfriend. That one line about how she doesn’t like outdoor vacations and prefers to relax in a way that involves spending lots of money — lol, my girlfriend once said almost the exact same thing. It’s hard to imagine a Japanese girl saying something like that, unless maybe some kind of gyaru. For Japanese people it would sound very materialistic and spoiled.Ya, no, i generally look at artwork and writing - I could care less if a game dev is from the states or china or india or wherever.
Honestly when I talk about games here I don't even think if they are western or not just have a nice talk cause I find the people in this thread rather friendly about such topics + I see them often enough in games I play. Tho I probably have a different viewpoint on what I consider western or not. For me if the characters look anime that is fine as long as the writing and rest of the art work doesn't feel Japanese ( like schools for example or the locations) .
Which would certainly cut out the stuff I dont like...but on the other hand, there's enough exceptions id think that would be unfair.
is there any sharing yet in that 1. I haven't played it yet just skimmed through it here and there but never felt the need to give it a honest try for some reason no idea why. From what little ive seen just doesn't feel as exciting as other games I skim through till im in the mood to play it for real.

Same. I enjoy this thread not because it is focused on western games, I actually like anime style and generally prefer 2dcg games. I like this thread because there are many kindred spirits here when it comes to preferences in NTS games and the things I find irritating. I’m glad that this thread — even though it’s not stated anywhere — seems to have gathered people who don’t like cuckolding, NTR, and all the tropes associated with them. In the thread header, games with cuckolding are labeled as IR for obvious reasons, but we all understand what’s what.
