Recommending Western Sharing Games List

I like harem games, but they don't have to be harem for me to enjoy them. I'm happy with games that have poly or throuple paths also. I just won't play an AVN that only has solo LI only paths/endings. I have no time for multiple playthroughs. Plus most are boring to me.

my problem with harems is often times I find the sex scenes boring , I have a hard time getting into them. Only ones that work for me are when I can get into the the characters . Exception is when I like the story . It's why I prefer Solo paths as I need to get into the character to enjoy sex scenes. I'm just glad Ctrl skip is a feature or id miss out on so much content as I find it takes no time to play multiple paths with that feature.
Tho I will say sharing games is weird in a way where I can get into the characters with little to no effort. tho I only played 1 harem where I actually played the sharing path. I'm not sure what others are like

My problem with harem games (and ntr games) is most immediately ruin my favorite element in storytelling; when you truly don't know what will happen next.
There's nothing I love more in a game when I have zero clue what will happen next, who will be banging whom, who will be beefing with whom, who will be lovers, who will be enemies, it's like a wonderful mystery world just waiting to be unpacked. Harem games (and ntr games) ruin that "will she?/wont she?" feeling that drives so much sexual tension.

I prefer a little predictability...
Or at least the outcome matches the build up.
I can handle a story not going exactly how I want, but since I can formulate many possible scenarios and outcomes, the story needs to fit at least one of those...
That's my idea of a little predictability...I don't like stories that pull something out of left field just to fuck with readers and maliciously subvert expectations.
Like making a particularly likeable character suddenly turn to shit...
Off the top of my head, one story I liked, Shale Hill Secrets, made a certain character that I really liked early on, turn out not so good... And one I didn't like, well, she became one of my favorites. However, the story showed signs. So, the reveals weren't a complete blindside. The story was written in a way that the layers were slowly peeled back, revealing the mystery, had you wondering what was next, hoping it wasn't true, that it would be fine in the end, but suddenly it wasn't...
Perfectly ok with that.
One I didn't like...well, Last Jedi...
is an example of something that maliciously subverted expectations and was like a big fuck you to fans. I'm trying to think of a VN example...I know there are a couple, but I'm blanking. Acting Lessons is one that pissed me off... I don't want tragic sadness, PTSD, or lingering depression from playing a VN...Oh, the original story of Because I Love Her. Those endings pissed me off to no end, until I found the best one, that lets the MC leave Claire and go with...Jenny? think that was her name.
Oh, and another, My Wife is a Star... Yeah, the yacht fiasco in the original version... Thankfully the Ren'Py remake made that more palpable. But that scene was just a big ole fuck you to NTS fans...
The recent Moonripple update had me feeling a lot of anxiety and stress, but thankfully hit the brakes and didn't make we want to throw my laptop at the wall...

Actual choices for the player? Or kinetic? I'm not a fan of kinetic or "reject it once and it never happens again" kind of games. Sometimes I'm not against the sex, I just don't want to see it with *that* guy...

There are choices that affect the type of content that you want to engage in, kinks etc. There are "degrees" of how far into those kinks you are. LI choices are limited (sorta) although you can take a "I'll try them all" approach, but the dev warns of "trouble" if you do that (I don't know yet where that takes you) meaning you should choose who to get "involved" with, one for each playthrough. There is a lesbian path as well as a choice of males (I haven't tried them all yet obviously)
Highly recommend the official walkthrough, as choices aren't always "obvious".

I very much prefer games that offer the MC a wide variety of sex partners, and he can go back and forth between them as much as he likes, progressing through the game and the story. That's often the harem setup. However, I feel absolutely zero need for any of them to be exclusive to him, and think its fun and interesting if they hook up with or are in a relationship with someone else as well, and if there are scenes of group sex of any variety, and just fun sexy adventures. But, I've come to find that other people here who say harem absolutely do not mean that at all, so I struggle to come up with the right term to describe what I'm looking for.

Playing "Full Vanilla" games or "Unavoidable NTR + Kinetic Novels" is like watching a movie where someone has already spoiled every single major plot point for you beforehand
For instance, I don’t buy into the idea of there being high tension, fear, or excitement in a "Full NTR" game. Where’s the thrill or the dread when you know exactly what’s coming? When you know exactly how it ends, exactly what’s going to happen to the MC, and exactly what the FMC will eventually become?
One of the reasons "Sharing" is among my favorite genres is that—to varying degrees depending on the game and the developer—it offers a sense of unpredictability. This creates a real craving and tension in me, making me eager for the next update. It builds this internal suspense where I’m constantly asking, "What’s going to happen next?"
Sure, the question 'What’s next?' might pop up in a Vanilla game, but it’s nothing compared to the high-voltage tension of Sharing. In Sharing, that question is fueled by a desperate thirst and an unpredictability that keeps you on the edge of your seat, whereas in Full Vanilla or NTR, the spark is missing because the ending is already set in stone
That’s why, out of thousands of full vanilla titles, I only follow two or three—there are always exceptions, of course

I totally hate this trope when the MC engages in gf sharing in an already fragile relationship. Because of the stupidity of the idea ("oh, the gf is distansing from me, surely if I ask her to fuck other guys it will fix our relationship") and because it always leads to cuckold kind of story. NTR tho - well, it just happens, if there's not much negative vibes it can be hot with the MC still being a more-or-less self respecting and rational person.

ah, nevermind, it seems I won't like the NTR route as well. From one of the reviews:
So it's coercion kind of NTR. The kind of NTR I dislike. I only like NTR with an already slutty gf that cheats because she is just too horny. I don't like the blackmail, rape and other popular kinds of coercion sex in NTR.
I'd love to play a game where my character gradually builds a polyamarous group who all have a great time together.
