Hey Magicnuts, what an awesome team! I started following this game since it was submitted here, saw the game's huge potential and posted a 5-star review, but I was worried that it would become another one of those "complicated open-world VNs that are complicated for the sake of being complicated and have to be played with a guide". I played the latest update and wow wow, IT BLEW ME AWAY, what a crazy progress!
Plotwise, Myrtle's story being one of the first to be completed was a pleasant surprise because she was the lady I was interested most when there was 0 sex scenes in the game. The art is something else, but it's the ease and convenience of the quests of this game that tops Summertime Saga for me.
Whatever magic you pull that makes the quests convenient yet fun and still tied to the story instead of just some boring nonsense, keep doing that! The in-game clues are very helpful, too! I love that there's no weird hidden secret nonsense that gets in the way of the story. I read the comments asking for combat and RPG-type fighting, please don't do those!

I remember the days when it was sex, now it's dick straight to the shi**er in every "game". Why?. First, it's really not a major thing in this game and secondly, it's there because people like it. And yes, maybe they like it even in real life. You don't like anal sex, that's fine. Other people may not like things you like and that's really all there is.

I see that you have strong feelings about anal sex; we don't. For us, it is a tool to either tell a story or add variety. Now I won't lie to you by saying that we won't include things that our players like (unless we don't like it, of course), but anal sex was not one of them. I have read many many suggestions in these months, and I don't remember any pressure or demand from the community clamoring for anal sex. We added it because we wanted to add variety, and it was fun making it.
We are open to criticism, and if the majority of players don't like a feature, we will consider changing it or making it optional, but I don't think this fetish meets that description.
If you find anal sex, something actually practiced and enjoyed by some people in the real world, unbelievable, wait until we add the fishtail-job with mermaids.

This artwork is amazing and a lot to my liking, definitely has a lot of potential based on Myrtle. I can see this topping Summertime Saga for me personally if more content goes on especially once the over-world map locations starts having more events filling them out after the Old Capital.

I'm fairly new to the adult game scene, having stumbled on Summertime Saga by mere chance while I browsed innocently through the world wide web. Was bored, said fuck it, let's give it a shot. I enjoyed greatly and then stumbled with this forum and tried my luck with other games. I tried 3D and can definitely say it's not for me. So I sticked with 2d, and have become a fan of other games with good story and nice animation and I can definitely say after going through several that the best 2 games I've played are What a legend and Summertime Saga in no particular order. Other games I like Milky Touch and until recently Taffy Tales (last update was a bit of a let down) anyhow, I hope the developer sees this and wish to congratulate him on this quality and entertaining game he has created. Thank you Magicnuts!!!
