Ren'Py - What a Legend! [v0.7.05] [MagicNuts]

This game is an all-round experience. The artwork is amazing, almost too good to define and the story and pacing is admirable. This game here has the potential of being the best game on this platform if the developer continues in this path. I can't wait for the future releases.

This is without a doubt the one of the best game I have played on here. Everything from the visual design to the mechanics, to the music, the character design, and the writing is absolutely top-notch. The MC is really likeable and funny. Excellent game so far and I am sure it will continue to be in the future. Best of luck to you magicnuts and take your time in developing the game.

First things first I just want to say I am really looking forward to see where this game goes and I know its early days so I am sure any criticisms I have will be resolved in the future.
Pros

• Judging by the world map size the devs have a lot planned so hopefully it'll quite the sizable game once finished.
• The art is obviously fantastic and I think all UI, menus, landscapes and the characters presented so far look amazing.
• The characters are well written and have great individual personalities, that goes for all characters men included.
• What little music there is very nice and relaxing. Hoping they add more as most areas of the game are void of music. The ambient world sounds are equally great.
• Sex scenes are well done and the player can control things like speed, positions and when to climax.

Cons

• Choices don't matter. For example the MC gets berry juice on his hands. you have the choice to either wash your hands in the river or lick your hands clean. No matter what you pick the MC will lick his hands. This kind of thing happens pretty much for all choices.
• The main story right now is a little bit boring, "Do this and I'll have sex with you" kinda deal but I'm hopeful it picks up soon.
• I know the bottomless coin purse is a joke, a joke I really do like BTW, but I kinda wouldn't mind if money was something the MC had to earn and had a use. I am easy either way though.
• The place names of most areas are quite unimaginative. I know its not much of a con but it caught my attention haha

Just stunning. The art for this is in a league of its own as far as drawn CG goes. A great eye for detail and smooth (albeit short) animations. No annoying dating grind mechanics or minigames and very light hearted tone. The game feels highly "polished" even down to the menus and achievements and I personally had zero bugs or uncertainties. Basically, if you enjoy "Summertime Saga", it's that, but better. Enough content to fill an afternoon even in this early version. (0.3.01)

Dialogue and story aren't brilliant but very solid. A few humorous scenes but nothing too memorable. So far very "vanilla" content, which is missing a lot of opportunities in a medieval fantasy world. Might stay that way however since it's Patreon funded. Also (again, similar to Summertime Saga) you have to be okay with playing a goofy wet wipe of an MC that gets handled rather than handling things himself.

I'll be keeping an eye on this, or maybe even both. I had a great time playing it. Highly recommended.

This is a fine game. You can see the devs put a lot of time and effort into it but like there's good points, there's also a lot of glaring issues for me.

Pros:
- Beautiful game. Details in the icons, map, landscape and characters is exceptional.
- Top notch renders and animations
- Great humor and interesting side characters
- Exploration system and map design is nice
- Nice collect and craft system that has a good RPG feel

Cons:
- Story is very basic and vanilla
- There is no conflict. This game is too cheery and happy especially for the time they're living in
- MC is pathetic and boring. Most of the side characters are more interesting even the faceless guards standing at the gate. He has no personality and doesn't even act like someone that grew up in a brothel. He's a pushover that goes on missions to win the favor of woman and lets others walk over him.
- The "go do this and get sex" quest design. I hate this system with a passion. It's like prostitution where females reward you with sex for you doing them favors.
- Choices don't really matter. In an RPG style game, when choices pop up and they just do the same thing regardless of what is chosen...it's really irritating. Don't offer choice if it doesn't matter. Don't give people the illusion of control.

The lack of conflicts or hardships to overcome, the quest system, the stale MC, kinda dry story and choices that don't mean much won't make this any more than a fine game.

Without hesitation this is one of the best games in f95zone.

This game is full of jokes and good humour. (A small spoiler of first 3 mins) you start as an orphan because your mysterious mother accidentally dumped you to brothel instead of next door church. As a result you grow up as an idiot who only thinks how to empty his balls (game heavily hits you should be some kind of chosen hero, oh the irony!). Years follow each other (in winter scene there are more foot prints to brothel than church, good humour as I said) and finally you decide to follow the call of your dick to the capital in your birthday. You leave a note and all of your whore-mothers frown upon because they were preparing a surprise orgy you to lose your virginity.

If you like what you read this game is for you.

Plus: The game has fantastic art.

Minus: This game loves to jerk you about and mete out its small amount of content. The writing isn't eye wrenchling horrible, but I'd hesitate to put it far above that level. The game lacks content at time of writing, none of the characters are really attention grabbing, both in terms of visual design and characterization.

All in all, seems like an mediocre game with great art that people are way too high on.

Basically awesome. Amazing sex scenes and characters. The story is pretty funny and engaging at the same time. The girls are just fantastic. The world building is pretty amazing and make for fun storytelling. Totes to the developers

Well written dialogues which are funny and interesting at the same time. Nicely put down story.
The gameplay is smooth af and the mechanics are amazing. The environment and the sounds are soothing and actually make you feel like you're a part of the world.
It's only been 6 months since release and even then there's like tons of content. This makes you love the game even more cause you actually know that the dev is passionate and hard-working.
Mark my words, this game is on the track to becoming one of the most popular games on this site.

Definitely worth your time to play!

This game is great. All of the currently available features point to this being even better than games like Summertime Saga. The writing is funny, the characters are hot, the art is good, it has all of the core elements to making a great weg. I am sincerely looking forward to the final product as I am certain it will be a masterpiece.

After completing version 0.3, I have to say this is very good game as it is not too grindy, humorous comedy elements and well-drawn 2d images with animation. Only downside is the long waiting time for the new updates, but not gonna complain and rush the developers. Hope more contents, characters and new places to travel in the future updates

The art work and overall feel of the game is very good. I think the story so far has had pretty good pacing and there's no stats to "grind". Really like the writing as well. Comedic, but not random, and true to the adult game genre. Looking forward to the finished game.

I like this start to (current 0.03.01) finish. There are too many great women for me to have a favorite. Chestnut draws every body type sexy as hell on those leading ladies.

The simplicity really makes this great too. No annoying minigame mechanics to enrage you. A lot of developers could take notes on that.

You can tell these two really love their project. I appreciate the humor in it. So far the "Welcome Whore" and the Celestina story made me actually laugh out loud.

Rating based on game version 0.3.01. Fantastic game so far with good balance between story, minor sexual content(teasing, flashes of nude bodies) and major sexual content(animated blowjob/titjob/sex). Also has nice in-game guide for progression and a gallery to revisit scenes. Also shows which scenes are currently available in the game and which are planned for each character.

Never written a review here before, but, this game just compelled me to write one. Its really good and unique. How? why?

• Top-tier art [beautiful designs, from characters, backgrounds to the map itself]
• Entertaining, likable characters
• Hot scenes with fluid animations
• Fun quests to get you to those hot scene
• A cheery game
• The writings fun [comedy and erotic scenes are handled very well]
• Interesting storyline [needs more time to develop]

• Characters have personalities
• various expressions, blinking, arm gestures [every sentence i think]. it really brings the characters to life

This is all just off the top of my head, if I took the time to ponder the game I'm sure there's more positives points to the game, I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it.

What I meant by cheery is that the game isn't mean spirited, its light and funny. There's a plot being gradually developed but it'll probably end up being comedic and entertaining in some way .

Its in a fantasy medieval setting but the world isn't 'dark' and I doubt that rape or sexual assault exists in this world that the dev's developing, which is really great for this game!

Its just a fun game, been getting tired of darker subjects that seem to be a trend in novels, movies, tv and games now. A game like this is a breath of fresh air, its just entertaining and 'bright'. I loved games like the witcher trilogy and the wheel of time series, but its nice to have refreshing games like this that just make you grin throughout lol.

The women have personalities, their personalities and character designs add to the scenes, I don't have a favorite, or rather, i can't since they're all likable and attractive in their own ways for me lol.

Good luck to the devs, great work, hope they stick with it till the end. Don't think the game needs to be improved in any way, just keep going as is, everything's top notch. Thanks for this game, really appreciated it, its honestly been awhile since I played an adult game that's just fun and cheery.

Excellent game, so far story is interesting, the different chracters also just make you want to know more about them. The art is amazing and tbh the only thing i fear for is that the creators seem to have really high ambition maybe too high but we will see! Definetly gonna keep track of this.

One of the best light hearted games I have played in a long time. I love mid evil game settings. So when I started this game a few updates ago I was looking for some something fun and I am so glad I stumbled upon this gem of a game. Its not like any other game on here as far as the story and what you can do, the humor and characters I would best say is kind of like summertime saga with some of their mannerisms. I think this game applies equal parts of story, lewdness, humor, and sexual humor as well (ie the microscopic bit on a certain old man) or the tree (don't worry you will get it, aww naughty pines lol). Needless to say I love this game and will look forward to each release and lend my support to the creator.

Great game Huge potential, Great Art, Great Stories, Great quest, Biggest map I than all adult games I've played and the game is more life because of animation when interactions of NPC. also beautiful ladies.
