Weekly report 179

Hi everybody.
I hope you've had a great week. Here's a summary of what we've done since our last report:

Chestnut:
Our plan was for her to stay with the baby so that I could work both during the day and through the night and try to catch up with the story, and except for two days, during which she worked on cutscenes and created additional art -- a video from which you can see here -- she stuck to the plan. She's way ahead of me with the tasks done, so this plan works well for the overall release.

Pistachio:
It may not look like it if you view the progress tracker, but I have been advancing a lot with different dialogues, editing things, and posing more complicated scenes that I had been avoiding until now. I am a little over halfway done with the second quest, finishing things I had left from before and trying to reach the final, more action+sex-heavy part of the quest. There's still work left (plus both Chestnut and I will have a ton of edits/testing/debugging), but I can see the end after a very challenging development period, and that feels good.

Next week's plan:
Whether we continue our current schedule for the next week will depend on how well I do with my editing/posing tasks in the earlier days of the week. Either way, I'll be doing more posing, and when Chesnut returns to work, it would likely be to finish up cutscenes since I doubt I'd be reaching the next sex scene this week.

P.S. I did get a message two days ago from one of our patrons about whether our future updates will take this long to develop as well or not, and I thought I'd post the response here as well, in case others have wondered the same.
The short answer is no, not very likely. Two factors have impacted the 0.7's development: our new baby and two hip-replacement operations I had in January.
About the baby, the first year is usually the most challenging period, which is thankfully over, and we don't plan on having more babies. So, although she will still have more difficult moments, it is unlikely that this factor will impact our future development to the extent it has for the current release.
About my leg, it has been improving gradually since my operations in January, and even though it seems like my problems are not completely over (I had to do an x-ray a few days ago because of old pains coming back), I'm taking as good care of it as I can to avoid more medical complications that would impact my work.
It's important to note, of course, that there are other non-IRL factors that can impact the development period (such as the amount and the complexity of the content, etc.), but now that 0.7 has taken this long, Chestnut and I are very keen to make sure this is a one-off thing.

Man, I'm tired of reading people complaining about the delay of this last update, even when the devs have provided strong reasons for it. They even have a tracker and a weekly report, so you can see if they're working or not.
What the heck more do you want, folks?
We have HUNDREDS of examples of devs doing worse things than falling ill and having babies, like wasting your money on Genshin Impact or disappearing for years without any excuse. Venting here won't solve any problems.

It hasn't worked in STS, it hasn't worked in Milfy City, and it won't work in any other darn game. And those I've mentioned have done worse things than WaL. (Sorry for the fans of these last 2 games)
So, for fuck's sake, just wait a few more months now that we're at 84.4%, and stop sharing this nonsense with the rest of the forum.

Actually, it's 86.7%. ;)
It's 1187 items completed of 1369, which means that they added 11 more things to the list since the last time I checked. The update is bigger again. lol

Some people are not happy, if they are not making others upset. They get off on making others as miserable as they are. That is one kink, I will never understand. :p

That is because you are treating 422 as being = to 947.

I said how I did the calculation, by using the numbers there. To get the progress, you need to add the totals, and divide that by the total of the completed.

1187(00) / 1369 = 86.7%. Algebra! XD

Interesting:

1. (388+799)/(422+947) * 100% = 86.7%

2. ((388/422)+(799/947))/2 * 100% = 88.2%

3. (91.9 + 84.4) /2 = 88.2%

I did the lower version. And that's why I asked, I got a different number, I first thought about rounding errors.

I'm not sure what you mean with like this one. So I'm gone give a suggestion "Paradise Lust". It's point & click, and self drawen + animated, and you need to do something to get the girls, but just like this one here, you can't do much wrong.
